Destiny 2 Maintenance Time and Downtime Details

Destiny 2 Server Maintenance Update

September 7, 2023 – DESTINY 2 maintenance for update 7.2.0.3.  Maintenance has begun at 7:15 AM PDT (-7 UTC)

Expected end: 12PM.

July 6, 2023 – DESTINY 1 AND 2 MAINTENANCE Destiny 1 and 2 are being brought offline for expected maintenance. REMAINING TIMELINE ❖ Expected log in: 10 AM PDT (-7 UTC) ❖ Expected end: 11 AM

February 27, 2023 – Destiny 2 is being brought offline for expected maintenance for update 7.0.0.1.

• 8 AM PST: Destiny 2 maintenance begins.
• 8:45 AM PST: Destiny 2 is brought offline.

February 28, 2023

• 9.00 AM PST: Destiny 2 Update 7.0.0.1 will be available across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2.
• 10.00 AM PST: Destiny 2 maintenance completes.

February 14, 2023 – Destiny 2 is being brought offline for expected maintenance for update 6.3.0.9.

September 1, 2022 – Destiny 2 is scheduled to undergo all-day backend maintenance. After maintenance begins, players may be returned to the title screen upon hitting Orbit after activity completion. Players who log back in should expect no further interruptions. Maintenance is expected to conclude at 11:00 AM PDT.

August 25, 2022 – Today (08/25) at 09:00 AM PDT, Bungie will undergo background maintenance. Maintenance is expected to conclude at 11:00 AM PDT.

July 19, 2022 – Destiny 1 and 2 will undergo scheduled downtime from 6:45 AM (1345 UTC) to 10 AM (1700 UTC) on July 19. Below is a scheduled timeline for this release:

June 28, 2022 – Destiny 2 will under maintenance at the following time.

June 14, 2022 – Destiny 2 is scheduled to undergo maintenance at 8 AM PDT (1500 UTC). Players will be removed from activities at 9:45 AM (1645 UTC) and be unable to log in until 10 AM (1700 UTC).

June 6, 2022 – The game servers are experiencing issues. Players are getting various error codes. The game devs posted the following.

“We are aware of issues impacting players’ ability to sign in to Destiny 2. Until resolved, players may experience disconnects or be unable to sign in.“

May 31, 2022: – Destiny 2 is scheduled to undergo maintenance at 5 AM PDT (1200 UTC). Players will be removed from activities at 9:45 AM (1645 UTC) and be unable to log in until 10 AM (1700 UTC).

March 29, 2022 – At 9 AM PDT (1600 UTC), Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance for Hotfix 4.0.0.5.

March 28, 2022 – At 10:00 AM PDT (1700 UTC), Destiny 2 will undergo background maintenance. No downtime is expected. This will prepare us for Hotfix 4.0.0.5 releasing on March 29.

March 22, 2022 – At 9 AM PDT (1600 UTC), Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance for Hotfix 4.0.0.4 Players will be removed from activities at 9:45 AM (1645 UTC) and be unable to log in until 10 AM (1700 UTC).

• 9 AM PDT (1600 UTC): Destiny 2 maintenance begins.
• 9:45 AM (1645 UTC): Destiny 2 is brought offline.
• 10 AM (1700 UTC): Destiny 2 Hotfix 4.0.0.4 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions.
• 11 AM (1800 UTC): Destiny 2 maintenance completes.

March 10, 2022 – Destiny 1 and 2 are being brought offline for expected maintenance. At 9 AM PST (1700 UTC) Hotfix 4.0.0.3 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions. Ongoing Destiny 1 and 2 maintenance is expected to conclude at 10 AM (1800 UTC).

Update:  Destiny 1 and 2 downtime has been extended by one hour. Players will not be able to sign in to Destiny 1 and 2 at this time. Players are expected to be able to login at 10:00 AM PST.
