Xdefiant Update 1.000.019 Patch Notes (Y1S1.4)

Xdefiant update 1.000.019 is rolling out on PS5, PC and Xbox. According to the official Xdefiant 1.000.019 patch notes, the latest update improves ultra charge mechanics, enhances sniper rifle balance, and fixes multiple faction, map, and audio issues, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience. Additionally, Xdefiant version 1.000.019 also includes stability fixes.

Xdefiant Update Y1S1.4 Patch Notes – August 13, 2024

Gameplay

• Kill Assists: Now contribute to a player’s ultra charge.
• Ranked Matches: Fixed an issue where finishing a Ranked match would send players back to the main menu.
• EMP Grenade Challenge: Tracking issues resolved; players can now complete the challenge.

Factions

• Cleaners’ Incinerator Drone: Fixed issue where it would explode when flying over an ally’s GS-Kommando Shock Wire.

Maps

• National Zoo Map: Addressed a glitch where players were invulnerable at their initial spawn point on the second floor.

Game Modes

• Zone Control: Fixed a bug where all zones would unlock abruptly, allowing the attacking team to win unfairly.

Weapons

• Sniper Rifles:
  • Increased hit-flinch penalty, making it harder to aim under fire.
  • Spread Reduction Duration:
    • M44: Increased by 4%.
    • TAC-50: Increased by 28%.
    • L115: Increased by 16%.
  • Reduced aiming sensitivity while scoped to compensate for field-of-view changes.
• PEQ-15 Laser Sight: Fixed a floating issue when used with the AA-12 shotgun and Skullduggery skin.
• Weapon Attachments: Resolved invisibility issues for muzzle, magazine, and stock attachments with the Mecha skin.

Devices

• Device Exploit: Fixed an exploit allowing players to deploy unlimited devices by changing loadouts in spawn zones.

Netcode

• Sticky Grenades: Players no longer get stuck by enemy sticky grenades after dodging.

Audio

• Explosion Sounds: Fixed an issue where explosion sound effects would cut off when multiple grenades were deployed quickly.
• Spiderbot Audio: Enhanced the audibility of approaching Spiderbots.

Miscellaneous

• Game Lobby: Players are now blocked from repeatedly entering and exiting the game lobby.
• Scoreboard: Players can now report and block other players using mouse input.
• Crash Fixes: Various crashes have been addressed.

Recently, a Xdefiant day one patch was released with various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the release, players have been experiencing network connection and server issues. Today’s Xdefiant patch 1.000.019 will fix a few of these issues.
