Xdefiant update 1.000.009 (Y1S0.2) is now available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox. According to the official Xdefiant 1.09 patch notes, the latest update improves social features by fixing Crossplay settings, matchmaking, and player name displays. Additionally, Xdefiant version 1.000.009 also addresses crashes and corrects party invite displays on consoles.
Recently, a Xdefiant day one patch was released with various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the release, players have been experiencing network connection and server issues. Today’s Xdefiant patch 1.000.009 will fix a few of these issues.

- Crossplay Settings Display: Now shows the most restrictive Crossplay setting among party members, applying it to the entire party.
- Matchmaking Fix: Resolved issue where party members with different Crossplay settings couldn’t matchmake.
- Player Name Display: Corrected incorrect player names on some social screens.
- Crash Fix: Addressed crash caused by rapidly opening/closing View Party Invites.
- Invite Display Fix: Ubisoft Connect party invites now correctly display as coming from Xbox or PlayStation Network friends on consoles.
Miscellaneous
- Terrain Texture Fix: Resolved missing terrain textures when joining matches in progress on some maps.
- Matchmaking Status Update: Input-Based Matchmaking setting status now updates correctly after changes on Xbox.
- PS5 Activities Fix: Prevented access to restricted areas via PS5 Activities.
