Skyrim update 2023 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox. According to the official Skyrim patch notes, the latest update brings various stability and performance improvements. Apart from this, today’s Skyrim patch 2023 also includes fixes for game crashing bugs.
Previously, a major update was also released which added support for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Recently, a hotfix was also released. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing several issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Skyrim Special edition update 2023 will fix a few of these problems.

- Unified Creations Menu combining Mods and Creation Club menus.
- Addition of a Missing Creation check feature.
- Doubled ESL Range to 4096 records.
- Resource Pack and source scripts added for creators.
- Bug Fixes:
- Resolved crashes related to Dwarven Ballista and transferring arrows to a follower.
- Fixes for quest initiation issues and NPC behavior problems.
- Resolved issues with world rendering, control lock scenarios, and NPC appearance glitches.
- Fixes for asset and model issues, including Solitude assets, Blades Armor, and various weapons.
- Corrections in game mechanics like vampire cattle appearance and summoning abilities.
- Environmental fixes, including terrain, geometry, and asset alignment.
- Localization and typo fixes across various game elements.
- Platform-Specific Updates:
- PC: Ultrawide monitor support, Steam Deck compatibility, console improvements, and general optimizations.
- PlayStation: Camera alignment fix, button prompt, and flickering light issues.
- Xbox: General stability improvements in Morthal.
