Gran Turismo 7 update 1.22 (1.220) details are now available for PS4 and PS5 players. According to the official Gran Turismo 7 1.22 patch notes, the update added 3 new cars and resolves issues related to multiplayer, GT Auto, and other bugs. Apart from this, Gran Turismo 7 patch 1.22 also includes performance and general stability fixes.
Previously, a major update 1.20 added 3 new cars, quality of life changes, and more. Unfortunately, players are experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Gran Turismo 7 version 1.22 will address a few of these issues.

Fixed the following issues.
Sport & Lobby
- Addressed a bug when doing Free Practices on the ‘Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Rally Cross Layout,’ stopping the car by using the handbrake and then pausing the game with the controller’s ‘options’ button, the car will not move afterwards.
Workaround: This issue can be fixed by selecting ‘Exit’ from the pause menu and re-entering the track.
Garage
- Addressed a bug where changing the muffler from the ‘Intake & Exhaust’ category in ‘Garage’ > ‘Car Settings’ may cause the muffler on the car to disappear.
Workaround: If this issue occurs, it can be resolved by re-entering the ‘Garage.’
Multiplayer
- Addressed a bug where ‘Preparing’ is displayed on screen but the Host cannot start the race.
- Addressed a bug where entering the track in Practice does not let you drive and skip directly to the Final Race.
- Addressed a bug where in a ‘2P Split Screen’ race, the Assist Settings for Player 2 are locked.
