EA Game has released a new F1 22 patch 1.09 on PS4, PS5(version 1.009.000), PC, and Xbox One. According to the F1 22 1.09 patch notes, the latest update addressed the Automatic gearbox rev-limiter bug. Apart from this, F1 22 version 1.09 (1.009) also corrected the tyre temps and other issues.
Previously, a major update 1.05 added a long list of bug fixes and gameplay changes. Recently, update 1.07 was also released with new changes.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several F122 issues. F1 22 update 1.09 will address a few of these issues. Read more details here.

Bug Fixes
- Addressed a bug where the automatic gearbox hits rev-limiter for too long before upshifting
- Addressed a bug that caused radio commands to be disabled after using Flashback in certain circumstances
- Tyre temperatures are now correct when starting a race with no formation lap in offline modes
- Addressed a bug where players can receive incorrect penalties at Turn 4 of Australia
- Improved logic on AI leaving pit lane at Paul Ricard
- Lowered the threshold for enabling/disabling DRS in changeable conditions
- Addressed a bug where races cannot start when host spectates formation lap in Multiplayer
- Addressed a bug where players were unable to see other drivers’ lap times in Race Director
- Addressed a bug where cars with maximum downforce upgrades may incorrectly experience high tyre temperatures
- Addressed a bug where changes to race style settings and AI difficulty in Career mode may reset on game launch
- Fixed a timing issue causing incorrect sector and lap times when using Broadcast formation lap
- Renewing sponsorship contract on the same day as a Department Event can no longer be exceptionally long
- Addressed a bug where, in specific graphic settings, transparent boxes were sometimes appearing in-game
- General stability improvements
