EA Madden 26 update 1.017 (version 1.017.000) is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Madden 26 1.017 patch notes, the latest Season 8 introduced the NFL Draft program with prediction rewards, multiple themed events, and new upgradeable players. Theme Team systems expanded with full team chemistry support, while AANHPI Heritage Month added additional free items and upgrades. Additionally, Madden 26 patch 1.017 also includes AI and gameplay performance improvements.

Previously, a major Madden 26 update 1.012 fixed KO ability logic so successful rolls always knock out catches, clarifies ability lighting behavior, and resolves coverage shell changes in Bucs, Broncos, and Saints playbooks. Unfortunately, since the last patch 1.004, players are experiencing several issues while playing the game. Today’s Madden NFL 26 version 1.017 will fix a few of these issues.
