EA Madden 26 Update 1.012 Brings New Superstar abilities and New Gears

EA Madden 26 update 1.012 (version 1.012.000) is now available for download on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Madden 26 patch notes, the latest Season 5 update adds three new Superstar abilities that boost blocking, deep-ball accuracy, and resistance to pressure. Players also gain access to updated gear options and two cosmic-themed Superstar uniform sets. Today’s Madden 26 patch 1.012 also expand customization and enhance gameplay performance for passers.

New Superstar Abilities

Protector

• Grants passers improved pass-blocking support from their offensive line.

Long Range Dead Eye

• Ensures perfect accuracy on deep throws when feet are set, excluding high/low throws.

Fearless

• Reduces throw penalties from defensive pressure when passers have their feet set in the pocket.

New Gear

Updated Equipment

• Adds new helmet and visor styles.

• Introduces expanded gear options for multiple positions.

New Superstar Gear

Cosmic-Themed Uniform Sets

• Includes two new Superstar uniform variants with galaxy-inspired designs.

• Available for use in Superstar modes for enhanced player personalization.

Recently, the game was released with mostly positive reviews. Unfortunately, since the last patch 1.004, players are experiencing several issues while playing the game.
