EA Madden 26 Patch 1.007 Patch Notes (Update 1.007.000)

EA Madden 26 update 1.007 (version 1.007.000) is now available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S players. According to the Madden 26 1.007 patch notes, the latest update enhances defensive AI, adds Kurt Benkert’s custom playbook, and introduces three new international stadiums. Apart from this, Madden 26 patch 1.007 also fixes UI in the Franchise mode.

Zone Coverage

• Cover 2 Tampa: Middle defender now plays deeper for stronger leverage vs. deep threats and 3×1 formations.

• Cover 2 Hard Flats: Defenders now react more accurately to flat routes, improving shallow zone coverage.

• Cover 3 Match: Smarter defender reactions against slot WRs attempting to outleverage defense on deep routes.

• Cover 6 & Cover 4 Palms: Outside CBs no longer attempt to press, preventing easy deep touchdowns.

• General Coverage: Zone defenders drop quicker when shading “overtop.”

General Fixes

• Fixed post-play animation where defenders performed “read steps” after the whistle.

• Corrected visual bug where the previous play graphic blocked offensive play call formations.

• Added Benkert’s Dimes Playbook, created with Kurt Benkert, available in Play Now.

Presentation

• Added 3 international stadiums to Play Now, Franchise, and Superstar:

Franchise

• Reduced transition time when opening the Player Card.

• Fixed bug allowing commissioners to send multiple league invites at once.

• Fixed edge players unable to add Pass Rushing Traits.

• Corrected Draft Board transparency issue.

Superstar Mode

• Lowered fumble chance in snow games.

• Fixed players appearing in the wrong position.

• Fixed rare bug where players’ knees were invisible during the NFL Combine.

Ultimate Team

• Play A Friend now respects individual passing settings.

• Fixed visual issues when opening Fantasy Packs after H2H games.
