V Rising Update 1.0 Patch Notes – May 8, 2024

V Rising update 1.0 is rolling out on PC(Steam). According to the official V Rising 1.0 patch notes, the latest update brings engine improvements, new biomes, locations, enemies, gamepad support, castle features, spells, weapons, and armor. Apart from this, V Rising patch 1.0 also includes various gameplay adjustments.

Technical Updates

  • Major engine update to Unity 2022 and DOTS 1.1 for improved performance
  • Client and server optimization updates

World Updates

  • Explore new discoveries in existing regions like Farbane Woods, Dunley Farmlands
  • New endgame biome: Ruins of Mortium
    • Dynamic conflict events, exclusive resources and weapons
    • 11 new locations to explore
  • Face off against the fearsome Legion of Noctum and claim their Draculin blood
  • Intercept human cargo travelers for blood and loot
  • Updated lighting, visual improvements, new points of interest across all zones

Difficulty Settings

  • Choose between Relaxed, Normal and Brutal difficulties
  • Modifies enemy power, environmental effects, loot

Gamepad Support

  • Full gamepad support on PC with reimagined UI
  • Haptic feedback, trigger resistance, immersive sounds
  • Haptics disabled in Streamer Mode to avoid audio issues

  • Advanced refinement stations with bigger inventories and faster processing

Spell & Weapon Changes

  • Spells, weapons, jewels rebalanced

  • 18 new passive buffs to further empower your vampire

  • 100% blood bonus reduced to 25% from 30%
  • Respawn blood loss reduced to 10% from 100%
