Total War Warhammer 3 update 5.2 is available to download on PC players. According to the official Warhammer 3 patch notes, the latest update brings a pretty hefty range of bug fixes and tweaks. Apart from this TWW3 update 5.2 also includes stability and gameplay performance fixes.

Campaign Features

Dwarfs: The Deeps – New Feature
  • Access the Deeps after constructing the “Great Gate” building.
  • Expand Dwarf settlements underground with a new building tree.
  • Features like sealing your hold and smelting Oathgold.
  • Requires permission from the High King and patience to clear blockages.
Chaos Cults: Feature Rework
  • Cultist agents can now create Cults for all Chaos factions.
  • Cults generate their own corruption instead of spreading it.
  • New Cult Magus agent can upgrade Cults.
  • Expanded building trees with 36 total options across Machinations, Rituals, and Magus-unique choices.
  • Each Chaos God has unique Cult effects aligned with their playstyle.
  • Cults use the Discoverability mechanic to avoid discovery by region owners.
Unusual Locations: New Campaign Feature
  • Discover 20 new unique locations in your settlements.
  • Locations offer unique effects, events, and items with trade-offs.
  • Primarily focused on Old World lore, with future potential for more.
Grand Cathay: Ivory Road Update
  • Cathay can now dispatch multiple caravans.
  • New tech allows an additional caravan slot for all Cathayan factions.
  • New caravan destinations: Nuln, Barak Varr, and Gisoreux, each providing unique items and units.
  • UX improvements include cargo display updates during caravan events.

Campaign AI & UI Updates

Campaign AI Improvements
  • Enhanced AI recruitment for more powerful units and greater variety.

  • Goblins (Swords & Shields): Added alongside the existing Goblins (Spears).

Battle Map Tree Cluster Update

New Shadows of Change Main Menu Background

  • Resolved crashes and soft locks during end turns and multiplayer campaigns.
