TheHunter COTW update 1.76 is avaialble to download on PS4, PC and Xbox players. According to the Hunter COTW update 1.76 patch notes, the latest Emerald Coast Australia and Layton Lake Cosmetic Pack update brings several new features to the game, including interactive audio clues from fleeing animals, estimated distance display for audio clue interactions, new horn designs for certain animals, increased aggression and cleverness of alligators with the addition of saltwater crocodiles, and the ability to retrieve dead alligators and crocodiles from underwater. Apart from this, the Hunter Call Of The Wild version 1.76 also includes a redesigned Harvest Screen, the option to tag favorite customization options, and the ability to choose a Trophy Lodge version in multiplayer.
Previously, TheHunter COTW update 1.52 added a long list of bug fixes and changes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, many players are experiencing a number of issues. Today’s the Hunter COTW update 1.76 will fix a few of these issues.

New Features:
Animals now have a chance to create an interactive audio clue when fleeing.
- Estimated distance to the target displayed when interacting with Audio Clue.
- New TruRACs horn designs for Springbok, European Bison, and Plains Bison.
- Alligators have become more aggressive with the addition of Saltwater Crocodiles.
- Increased frequency of attacks and improved tactics.
- Alligators and Crocodiles now float to the surface for retrieval when they die underwater.
- Redesigned Harvest Screen.
- Players can tag favorite Customization Options for easy access in a favorites menu.
- Ability to choose the version of Trophy Lodge to load into in multiplayer games.

- Revised XP requirements for weapons, ammunition, and gear items for better accessibility.

- Alligators in Mississippi spend more time on land.
- Mexican Bobcats exhibit more active behavior during the late hours.
- Population reset for Springbok, European Bison, Plains Bison, Alligators, and Mexican Bobcat to reflect species updates.

- Option to disable Control Hints for a more immersive experience.
- Control Hint for “Hide All Clues” hotkey activation.
- Main Menu straightened out for better alignment.
- Reorganized Animal Harvests in the Hunting Profile, with Great Ones at the top.
- Prompt to save unsaved changes when closing the customization menu.
VISUALS:
- Added new shadow rendering improvements (Screen Space Contact Shadows).

- Fixed functionality of the Muscle Memory perk.
- Sight calibration issue with Hudzik .50 Caplock resolved.
- Grelck Drilling Rifle no longer causes inability to fire when switching modes.
- Revolvers no longer jam when hip firing with manual chambering.
- Correct unlocking of reward weapons from Parque Fernando missions.
- Ability to complete the “Ultimate Memento” mission on Medved-Taiga restored.
- Issue resolved with finding objectives in the “Mucking it up for Science” mission on Vurhonga Savannah.

- Correct display of weapon descriptions in the Weapon Wheel UI.

AUDIO:
- Restoration of audible calls for Gray Wolves, Red Deer, Red Foxes, and Feral Goats.
- Reduced occurrence of “zone transition” audio spamming.
- Synchronization of audio with rifle firing animations from other players.
VISUALS:
- Improved animal movement and eliminated sliding in Multiplayer.
- Resolved issue causing odd appearance of Moose when starting to move from idle.
- Fixed animations for Female Alligators.
- Addressed animation issues during animal stopping.
- Adjusted Geese models to resemble real geese more closely.
- Fixed models for Cinnamon Teal.
- Resolved issues with Springbok skeleton, Melanistic Mallard Models, Bobwhite Quail trophy pose, and Mouflon Trophy Pose.
- Fixed dog’s head-spinning issue and invisibility during interactions.
- Proper matching of skin tones on lower arms while wearing the Africa Outfit.
- Eliminated bald spot issue caused by wearing the Africa Outfit.
- Various visual fixes and improvements for trees, fog rendering, cursor lock, anti-aliasing, backpacks, and trophy placements.
MULTIPLAYER:
- Fixed issue allowing players to “join” private games on Steam.
- Addition of “Invites” button to in-game multiplayer menu on Steam.
PERFORMANCE:
- Fixed crashes related to using the dog in multiplayer.
- Reduced auto-saving frequency to strike a balance between data saving and performance.
- Fixed occasional startup crashes on the Windows Store PC version.
