The Division 2 update 1.80 (v22) is available to download on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Division 2 1.80 patch notes, the latest season 2 update introduces the “Shades of Red” update, packed with a new structured Seasonal Journey, dynamic modifiers, weekly Manhunt Scouts, and fresh gear and weapon options. A Master Difficulty Level adds a high-skill challenge with exclusive loot. Apart from this, Division 2 patch 1.80 also include balancing changes and expanded automatic fire further.

Seasonal Journey Progression System
- 7 Mission Tiers: Each mission includes 8 objectives designed to introduce key mechanics.
- Rewards: Earn XP, Season Pass XP, progression items, and resources.
- Unlockable Cosmetics: Complete the full journey to receive a unique seasonal cosmetic item.
Seasonal Modifiers
- Global Modifiers: Active season-wide, this season’s “Point Blank” boosts damage based on proximity to enemies.
- Active Modifiers: Equip one power-boosting skill at a time, synchronized with Global Modifiers for range manipulation.
- Passive Modifiers: Equip up to three, granting added benefits aligned with the range zones.
- Hostile Modifiers: Enemy adaptations tied to player abilities, challenging strategic use of modifiers.
- Disable Option: Modifier system can be turned off and is incompatible with global events.
Priority Objectives System
- Available at Level 30: Select objectives for resource farming and reward customization.
- Objective Rerolls: Option to reroll objectives, earning reroll points upon completion.
- Unlimited Completion: No cap on the number of completed Priority Objectives, offering continuous XP and items.
Manhunt Scouts and Climax Missions
- Weekly Manhunt Scouts: Weekly narrative-driven missions with three unique activities and riddles.
- Progression Rewards: Complete each Scout for XP, materials, and unique collectibles.
- Manhunt Climax Mission: Unlock by finishing all weekly Scouts, leading to a Master Climax Mission for top-tier rewards.

New Exotic Weapons and Gear
- Strega Exotic AR: With “Unnerve” talent for marking enemies within 20m, granting 15% Amplified Damage per mark.
- Centurion’s Scabbard Holster: Grants weapon bonuses that rotate per weapon swap.
- Virtuoso Gear Set: Offers handling, damage, and unique talent “Symphony” that scales with enemy kill range.
New Named Weapons and Talents
- The Drill (Carbine 7) & Cricket (GR9): “Perfect Precision Strike” for amplified close-range damage.
New Master Difficulty Level
- Master Climax Mission: For expert players with challenging scaling, exclusive rewards include the “Provocator” Exotic Chest.
Reworks and Updates
- Sledgehammer Talent: Adjusted to apply 15-20% armor damage with a 10-second mark, down from 30%.
- Mosquito Song: Reduced stacks required to trigger enemy targeting, now 5 (was 10), and added 25% armor damage boost.
- Automatic Fire on Select Rifles and MMRs: Enhanced for weapons including ACR, M1A, and SVD for sustained fire options.
New Named Weapons in Loot Pool
- Added new Named Weapons to loot tables in TU22, with a higher chance of dropping at higher difficulty levels.
- Only available for level 40+ characters in regular missions (not “invaded” missions).

- Appearance Mods Relocation: Moved Chest, Backpack, Gloves, and Kneepad mods from Inventory Modding to Apparel Menu. Mods are now dyeable directly in the Apparel Menu.
- Recurring Projects Update: Adjusted rewards for all level 40 players.
- Exploit Fix: Resolved an issue that allowed players to earn double Scavenger Points.
Friend Referral Program Relaunch
- Start Date: October 31 at 9 AM UTC.
- New Rewards: Veterans and new recruits can earn the Insurgent Uniform and Insurgent Backpack by participating.

- Availability: Available from Level 1 for 1000 Premium Credits ($9.99).
- Premium+ Option: Available for 3000 Premium Credits ($29.99) with enhanced rewards.

Previously, a major Division 2 update 1.8 added fixes for gear, talents, the Descent mode, PvP, raids, and the UI. Recently, Division 2 patch 1.55 has added various gameplay tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Division 2 version 1.80 will address a few of these issues.
