The Division 2 Update 1.54 Patch Notes (TU 18)

The Division 2 update 1.54 (Title Update 18) is available to download on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Division 2 1.54 patch notes, the latest Division 2 season update brings new changes, weapons, fixes and more. Apart from this, Division 2 patch 1.54 also includes performance improvements.

Previously, a major Division 2 update 1.46 added new features, changes and fixes to the game. Recently, hotfix 1.47 was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Division 2 version 1.54 will address a few of these issues.

Manhunt

  • In the wake of the attack on the White House, 11 people are missing.
  • Agents must locate and rescue the missing civilians, who have valuable intel on the White House and The Castle Settlement.
  • The prime target is Mari Singh, the former Director of the DC Aquarium.
  • Agents must defeat Natalya Sokolova, the Black Tusk leader responsible for the attack on the White House, to complete the Manhunt.

Calendar

  • The Manhunt will run from March 8 to June 6, 2023.
  • There will be a new target each week, with the final target being Natalya Sokolova.
  • Agents will earn rewards for completing each target, including gear, weapons, and cosmetics.

Descent

  • Descent is a new game mode that allows agents to explore a randomized, semi-infinite dungeon.
  • Agents will need to use their skills and teamwork to defeat enemies and bosses, and collect intel to complete the mission.
  • Descent is a challenging mode that will test the skills of even the most experienced agents.

Gear, Weapons & Talents

  • Year 5 Season 1 introduces a new gear set, a new exotic weapon, a new exotic gear piece, two new named weapons, and a number of new weapon and gear talents.

  • The new gear set, The Cavalier, is designed for agents who want to play aggressively.
  • The new exotic weapon, St. Elmo’s Engine, is an assault rifle that fires shock rounds.
  • The new exotic gear piece, Shocker Punch, is a holster that gives agents a damage boost when they melee an enemy with a shield.
  • The two new named weapons, Cabaret and Big Show, are both SMGs that deal bonus damage to shocked enemies.

Balancing Existing Gear

  • A number of existing gear pieces and talents have been balanced in Year 5 Season 1.
  • The most notable changes include a buff to the Determined talent, which now allows agents to chain multiple headshots.

Quality of Life Changes

  • Conflict XP rebalance: Conflict XP gains have been rebalanced. Players will now earn SHD XP progression for Conflict matches.
  • Added Grants Tab: A new Grants Tab has been added to the Store. This tab will contain all of the compensations that players have received.
  • Allow players to change mission difficulty regardless of the world difficulty setting: Players can now change the difficulty of a mission regardless of the world difficulty setting.
  • Quick grenade selection menu: A quick grenade selection menu has been added. Players can hold G on PC or D-pad Left on consoles to open the menu.
  • Visual feedback for locked Grenades: When browsing through the Grenades menu in the Inventory, players will see a notification which lets them know if the selected Grenade can be equipped or not.
  • Mark Apparel Items as favourite: Players can now mark Apparel Items as favourite. This will make it easier to find them in the Apparel Cache.
  • Directives selection for Raids: Players can now select Directives for Raids. This will make Raids more challenging and rewarding.
  • Show selected mission Directives on the Mega Map: Players can now see which Directives are selected for a mission on the Mega Map.
  • Hold ESC/SPACE to skip videos and epilepsy warnings: Players can now hold ESC or SPACE to skip videos and epilepsy warnings.
  • Added a new In Loadouts section at the bottom of the Item Details window in the Inventory: A new In Loadouts section has been added to the Item Details window in the Inventory. This section will show which loadouts the selected item is present in.
  • Added the Hide/Show Mask and Hide/Show Signature Weapon buttons in the Inventory: The Hide/Show Mask and Hide/Show Signature Weapon buttons have been added to the Inventory. These buttons can be used to hide or show the Mask and Signature Weapon, respectively.
  • Added a notification widget for modding Primary, Secondary and Sidearm weapons’ skin slot: A notification widget has been added for modding Primary, Secondary and Sidearm weapons’ skin slot. This widget will appear if the player has any custom skin available for that weapon in the Store.

Other

  • Fixed the issue with the Mission Difficulty setting selected from the Mega Map not persisting when fast traveling to the mission.
  • Deconstructing Named items from Brazos de Arcabuz Brand Set will now give Brazos de Arcabuz resources.

DESCENT

Balancing and Difficulty

  • Talents balancing: The following talents have been balanced:
    • Allegro: Reduced the initial and per tier bonus rate of fire from 10% to 7%
    • Breadbasket: Reduced Headshot damage from 20% to 15%
    • Concussion: Reduced the initial and per tier bonus Weapon damage bonus from 10% to 5%. Reduced the per tier Duration bonus from 1 second to 0.5 seconds. Reduced the per tier Weapon damage from headshot kills from 15% to 10%.
    • Obliterate: Increased the initial Weapon damage bonus from 1% to 1.5% and added fixed number of stacks – 30.
    • Adrenaline Rush: Reduced Bonus armor initial and per tier bonus from 5% to 3%.
    • Optimized: Reduced the initial and per tier Weapon handling bonus from 10% to 5%.
    • Vindictive: Reduced the initial and per tier Critical Hit chance bonus from 7% to 3%.
    • Lowered the arena defensive buff from 20% to 15%.
  • Tweaked the Exotic Talents drop chance by increasing it after Descent Loop 4
  • Updated the supply shop rules by allowing only 2 random special ammo to be present in the list.
  • Fixed difficulty scaling after lvl 30.
  • Added Named Item blueprints from Seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4 to the Reconstructed caches.

Rogue agents’ encounters

  • Removed the healing packs.
  • Updated the spawn values based on number of players (number of players + 1 rogue agent)
  • Increased the rogue agents spawn rate.
  • Buffed rogue agents’ Health, Damage, and Armor.

Nemesis encounters

  • Immune to shock ammo
  • Fixed an issue preventing Nemesis from using Sticky Bomb and Chem Launcher Skills
