The Division 2 Update 1.59 Patch Notes (TU 19)

The Division 2 update 1.59 (Title Update 19) is available to download on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Division 2 1.59 patch notes, the latest Year 5 Season 2 update brings a wave of changes and additions that are bound to excite long-time agents and newcomers alike. Apart from this, Division 2 patch 1.59 also includes a long list of bug fixes.

Previously, a major Division 2 update 1.8 added fixes for gear, talents, the Descent mode, PvP, raids, and the UI. Recently, Division 2 patch 1.55 adds various gameplay tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Division 2 version 1.59 will address a few of these issues.

Season 2: Puppeteers Manhunt – Unmasking The Recruiter

The Puppeteers Manhunt kicks off with a bang. After successfully recovering Mari Singh and the initial group of hostages, Division Agents shift their focus to a crucial mission: locating the remaining missing individuals to unravel Natalya Sokolova’s sinister plans against The Division.

Among the hostages to be rescued is Vikram Malik, who was taken by the notorious Black Tusk organization, previously associated with Sokolova. Saving Malik is not only a matter of survival but also a key step in deciphering Sokolova’s mysterious agenda. To achieve this, Agents must embark on a dangerous mission to track down and confront their prime target – The Recruiter. Taking down this enigmatic figure is essential to unveiling the secrets behind his recruitment efforts.

As Agents progress and successfully rescue each hostage, they’ll witness notable upgrades to various areas of The Castle, as part of the ongoing rebuilding efforts within the settlement. The Manhunt in Year 5 Season 2 promises to be a high-stakes thriller filled with twists and revelations.

Incursion Game Mode – The Return of High-Stakes Action

One of the most anticipated features of Year 5 Season 2 is the triumphant return of Incursions. These four-player missions were a staple in the first installment of The Division, and now they’re making a grand entrance into The Division 2.

The inaugural Incursion, titled “Paradise Lost,” sets the stage for intense action. In this mission, four dedicated Division agents must work together to liberate the Meret Estate Settlement from the clutches of the ruthless Cleaners. As they navigate the fiery chaos, Agents must locate and rescue hidden survivors, including the settlement’s leader, Mackenzie Meret. However, formidable enemies stand in their way, presenting a true test of skill and strategy.

To tackle Incursions successfully, teamwork is paramount. Each week an Incursion is completed, Agents are rewarded with exotic items, including a chance to obtain the unique Exotic SMG – Ouroboros, exclusively available in Incursions. This challenging game mode demands optimal gear loadouts, strategic coordination, and impeccable collaboration among Agents.

Gear, Weapons & Talents – Arm Yourself for Battle

Year 5 Season 2 introduces a treasure trove of new gear, weapons, and talents for Division Agents to experiment with. Whether you’re looking for powerful weaponry or game-changing gear sets, Puppeteers has something for every Agent’s arsenal.

New Exotic Weapon: Iron Lung Exotic LMG

• Talent: Ardent Shooting heats the weapon, filling the “heat meter” up to 50% of the standard magazine size. When fully charged, shots from this LMG ignite enemies. The heat meter depletes when not firing or upon reloading.

New Exotic Gear: Collector Exotic Chest Piece

• Talent: Hoarder grants +3 Grenade Capacity, +50% Grenade Radius, +35% Grenade Damage, and +25% Grenade Damage for each additional enemy caught in the blast. Agents automatically regenerate grenades every 30 seconds if they have less than 2 grenades in their inventory.

New Gear Set: Ortiz – Exuro Gear Set

• 2 Pieces equipped provide +20% Burn Duration & +15% Skill Health.
• 3 Pieces equipped offer +40% Burn Damage.
• 4 Pieces equipped unlock a unique Turret talent – the Ortiz Incinerator Turret Prototype. This turret rotates 360 degrees, and Agents are immune to its fire. Additionally, the turret explodes when disabled.

New Gear Brand Set: Lengmo Gear Brand Set

• 1 Piece equipped gives +20% Explosive Resistance.
• 2 Pieces equipped offer +10% Skill Health.
• 3 Pieces equipped provide +15% LMG Damage.

These new additions to gear and weapons offer exciting possibilities for Agents to fine-tune their loadouts and tackle the challenges that await in Year 5 Season 2: Puppeteers.

New Named Weapons & Talents have also made their way into the game, providing fresh options for customization and combat effectiveness. Born Great Military G36 AR and Grown Great Tommy Gun SMG are among the new additions, each offering unique talents to enhance your gameplay.

Quality of Life Changes

• Exotic Caches are now available for purchase at the DZ vendors in all locations.
• Reduced Stinger Hive’s range by 30% in PVP.
• Added a message notification specifying why the player is not able to activate a Manhunt bounty with the list of side missions that need to be completed in order to activate the bounty.
• Added Discovery Mission to the Manhunt menu activity list. Discovery Mission becomes available upon completing the Target Takeover Bounty.
• Added Legacy Manhunt Menu where players will now be able to:
  • Find the previous seasons’ Prime Target missions.
  • Read a narrative recap and Targets’ profiles.
  • Play missions in chronological order.
  • See the rewards.
• New Outfit Details widget:
  • The widget will display the set icon, set parts icons (hat, shirt, pants, shoes, scarf, glasses).
    • Items not owned by the player marked in grey.
    • Unequipped items owned by the player are indicated by low opacity item quality colour.
    • Equipped items are highlighted in bright item quality colour.
  • Added “Equip Set” button which equips all owned items from selected item set. The button is located at the bottom of the screen.

Descent Game Mode Rewards – More Thrills for Level 40 Players

Year 5 Season 2 introduces various enhancements to the Descent game mode, catering to level 40 players. The changes in rewards aim to amplify the excitement factor:

• Increased Drop Chances: The drop chances for Bonus Rewards have been significantly improved. Starting from Loop 9, players enjoy a 75% drop chance, which escalates to 100% at Loop 12. Loop 15 and 18 offer 75% and 90% drop chances, respectively. Loop 25 introduces the Reconstructed Cache, previously known as the Exotic Cache.

• Nemesis: The highly coveted Nemesis now has a 50% drop chance, making it more accessible to dedicated agents.

Apparel Event – Dress in Style

As a part of the Year 5 Season 2 celebration, The Division 2 introduces the “NEXUS” Apparel Event. This event adds a fresh and unique aesthetic to the game, allowing agents to customize their characters like never before. During the event, you can earn Apparel Cache keys by leveling up your watch levels and unlock a variety of stylish items through caches.

Season Pass – Premium Rewards Await

For those looking to enhance their Division 2 experience further, the Season Pass offers premium rewards for 1000 Premium Credits ($9.99 or regional equivalent). This pass grants access to a Hunter-themed outfit, along with additional premium track rewards, including new weapon skins, gear dyes, emotes, and a special vanity outfit.
