The Callisto Protocol patch 1.20 is available for PS4, PC and Xbox One players. According to the official Callisto Protocol patch notes, the latest update adds a new hardcore mode and improves PSO crashing and fixed game stuttering issues. Apart from this, The Callisto Protocol version 1.20 also includes various gameplay optimizations.
Previously, an day one update 1.05 added quality of changes and fixes. Recently, update 1.06 was also released. Unfortunately, since the release, players are reporting a number of issues. Today’s Callisto Protocol update 1.20 will fix a few of these issues.

Hardcore Mode
A challenging take on The Callisto Protocol’s survival-horror experience, intended to push you to your limits, Hardcore mode is not for the faint of heart. Here’s what you can expect;
Ammo, health and credits are harder to come by and not every Biophage will drop loot.
Increased enemy damage
Decreased Stun Baton damage
Increased enemy mutation speed
Contraband value is reduced

Players that were not correctly granted the “The Protocol is About Life” achievement upon completing the game will be automatically granted the achievement
