The Ascent update 4 (Oct 12, 2021) is now available to download on PC (Steam), Windows 10, and Xbox One. According to the Ascent patch notes, the latest update added achievements fixes, and other improvements. Apart from this, the Ascent update 3 also includes stability fixes.

The Ascent hotfix 4 Patch Notes – Oct 12, 2021
This hotfix is implementing a fix for achievements that didn’t unlock for certain players, even after Patch 3 deployment on Steam. The fix will be retro-active for these players. This doesn’t concern players on the Xbox family platforms as a fix for achievements will be included in the deployment of Patch #3 on these platforms, scheduled to go live shortly.
