Terraria PS4 Update 1.21 Patch Notes

Terraria PS4 update 1.21 patch notes is now available for players. According to the official Terraria 1.21 patch notes, the latest update resolves issues related to crashing, audio, and more. Apart from this, Terraria version 1.21 also includes stability and performance improvements. Please note, this not update 1.4. The major Terraria update 1.4 will be released later this year.

Previously, a big update was released with a handful of new furniture items, a couple of really cool developer armor sets, the long-anticipated UI size slider, and much more. A hotfix was also released with minor fixes.

Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing a number of issues while playing the game. Today’s Terraria version 1.21 update is expected to fix a few of these issues.

What is new in Terraria update 1.21?

MULTIPLAYER QUALITY OF LIFE

You can now more easily find games to join, create your own private rooms (no more random people dropping in uninvited!), and your map data will now be persistent for any worlds you join.

• Password Protected Multiplayer Games – Now you can set a password and only share it with the folks you want on your world.
• Map Data on Multiplayer Sessions should now be persistent across sessions (vs resetting each session) – subject to data storage limits!
• Allow refreshing the “join game” list

GAMEPAD QUALITY OF LIFE

Equally important – and often requested – is the ability to customize the sensitivity of the sticks/cursor on the gamepad. With this latest update, you have a number of ways to tailor your gamepad experience to your personal preferences – from deadzones to cursor speed, its all here.

• Allow specifying the deadzone & cursor speed for the right and left sticks
• Allow specifying whether the tile grid is visible using the precision cursor

Bug Fixes

• Added gameplay optimizations.
• Fixed framerate drop and freezing issues.
• Addressed stuttering and lag issues.
• Fixed audio-related issues.
• Performance and stability improvements added.
• Other minor under the hood fixes.
