Street Fighter 6 (SF6) Update 1.26 Patch Notes on December 16, 2025

Capcom releases Street Fighter 6 update 1.26 is available to download on PS4, PS5(1.000.023), PC, and Xbox consoles. According to the SF6 update 1.26 patch notes, the latest update focuses on balance adjustments for Mai, Elena, and Sagat. Elena and Sagat received improvements to enhance the effectiveness of their signature moves. These changes expand combo and link options, allowing players to better express each character’s strengths and individuality. In addition, Street Fighter 6 patch 1.26 also includes stability and performance improvements.

Key Highlights

  • Rebalanced Mai’s offense to reduce looping pressure and easier Burnout.

  • Improved Elena and Sagat usability by strengthening defining moves.

  • Enhanced Drive Gauge visibility during blocks.

  • Adjusted crouching light kick behavior against cross-ups.

  • Fixed inconsistencies with projectile clashes.

Universal Adjustments

Drive Gauge Display

  • Improved block color clarity to better indicate remaining Drive, even when only a small amount is left.

Crouching Light Kick (All Characters)

  • Hurtbox around the feet before the hitbox appears is now invincible to cross-up attacks.

  • Applies when attacking an opponent crossing up from behind just before landing.

Super Art Level 3 / Critical Art

Manon, Lily, Zangief

  • Removed an unnecessary idle hitbox before the throw hitbox activates.

  • Prevents unintended avoidance when timed with a jump landing.

Bug Fixes

Projectile Clashes

  • Fixed inconsistent timing when multi-hit projectiles cancel each other, ensuring consistent behavior in identical situations.

Recently, Street Fighter 6 update 1.15 added a new fighter and various other changes. Unfortunately, since the release, players are experiencing issues with the game. Future Street Fighter 6 version 1.26 will fix a few of these issues.
