Stellaris Update 4.02 Patch Notes (PS4 and Xbox One) – July 1, 2021

Stellaris update 4.02 (Patch 2.8 Hotfix) is now available to download on PS4 and Xbox One. According to the official Stellaris version 4.02 patch notes, the latest hotfix addressed some of the issues that the Community have been experiencing since the 2.8 update as well as fixing some crashing issues. Apart from this, Stellaris console edition patch 4.02 also added stability improvements.
Recently, a minor update was released with minor gameplay changes. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game.

Stellaris 4.02 Patch Notes
Fixed a bug where game crashes when managing a fleet that is merging with another.
Fixed a bug where game crashes when managing a fleet after destroying a shipyard.
Addressed an issue where game crashes when highlighting megastructure in Outliner.
Fixed a bug where game crashes when managing custom empire while starting new game.
Fixed a bug where game crashes when creating a custom empire with Syncretic Species.
Addressed an issue where game crashes when customizing species portrait.
Fixed a bug where game crashes in Radial menu when item became invalid.
Fixed a bug where game crashes in Envoy assignment screen when empire has no envoys.
Addressed an issue where game crashes when making multiple trade offers.
Fixed some random crashes
Machine empires can now reform their government
Faction leader Age and Skill now updating in Government screen
Fleet window for unknown contacts now hides ship names/other details
Fixed some localisation issues in German
Fixed missing DLC images on main menu
