State Of Decay 2 Update 36 Patch Notes

State of Decay 2 update 36 details released for Xbox One, Steam, and Windows 10/11 players. According to the official State of Decay 2 patch notes details, the latest update brings a series of quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and balancing changes to enhance the gaming experience. Apart from this, the State of Decay 2 patch 36 also includes the much-loved ugly sweaters and hats.

Previously, a major State of Decay 2 update 30 added the ability to continue playing with a community after completing a Legacy. Unfortunately, since the last patch 34, many players have been facing issues while playing the game. Today’s SOD2 update 36 will a few of these issues.

State of Decay 2 Patch 36 Notes – March 26, 2024

  • Rucksack Deposits: Now, at upgraded outposts (Level 2 or higher), you can deposit your rucksacks for added convenience.
  • ‘Take All’ Option: For survivors in a rush, there’s a new ‘Take All’ action for Containers, making it easier to grab everything quickly.
  • ‘Drop Item’ Action: Transfer personal items effortlessly with the new ‘Drop Item’ action directly from Containers and Vehicle Storage (Trunks).
  • Weapon Attachment Removal: You can now remove weapon attachments from selected ranged weapons in the Supply Locker without equipping them first.
  • Enclave Appearances: Zombie Trappers and The Cannibals enclaves can now appear once per map instead of once per community.
  • Bloater Improvements: Minor improvements to Bloater gas burst effects and behavior for a fairer gameplay experience.
  • Completion Counter Update: Objectives like ‘Under the Weather’ and ‘Missing a Few Bolts’ now display completion progress more clearly.
  • Blood Plague Survivor Trait: More characters have the chance to gain the Blood Plague Survivor trait.
  • New Survivor Names: Expanded pool of randomly generated character names and nicknames for creating new survivors.

Black Heart Curveball Tweaks:

  • Balanced Appearance: The Black Heart Curveball will now only appear after a certain number of days have passed, ensuring a more balanced gameplay experience.
  • Toxic Miasma Adjustments: Changes made to the Toxic Miasma effect to reduce damage dealt and provide clearer warnings.
  • Visual Improvements: Enhanced visual effects for the Black Heart Plague Miasma.
  • Reduced Effects: Various adjustments made to reduce the negative effects of the Black Heart Thick Miasma and Growing Dominion.
  • Zombie Balancing: Balancing changes applied to fire-resistant Black Heart Zombies for smoother gameplay.

Bug Fixes:

  • Mission Fix: Trumbull Valley CLEO mission edge case fixed to prevent issues with obtaining the CLEO device.
  • Stability Improvement: Fixed a crash related to accessing CachedCommunity after shutdown.
  • Mutation Curveball Correction: Sentinel Mutation Curveball and Hyper Auditory Mutation Curveball can no longer roll simultaneously to avoid conflicting effects.
  • UI Improvements: Minor improvements to Curveball Journal UI for better readability.
  • Localization Fixes: Miscellaneous text and localization improvements for a smoother gaming experience.
