Starbase update 2.8.2021 is now available to download on PC (Steam). According to the official Starbase patch notes, the latest update brings controller changes from the beta branch to the main. Apart from this, the Starbase update EA Build 529 also added checks to ignore signals sent by phantom controllers that some people’s drivers were doing.
Previously, a big update was released with various bug fixes and changes. Unfortunately, since the release, players are facing several issues. Starbase patch will fix a few of these issues.

Starbase Patch Notes (August 2, 2021)
- Fixed Ship Shop Ship thrusters getting auto-named when entering Easy Build Mode
- Added system message when receiving mail
- Allowed only Modules to be placed while in Easy Build mode
- Fixed Easy Build Mode deleting ships in some cases
