Marvel’s Spiderman 2 update 1.002.003 is available to download on PlayStation 5. According to the official Spiderman 2 version 1.002.002 patch notes, the latest update addresses visual issues with masks and lenses on certain suits as well as fixed blurry webbing on the Classic Suit. Apart from this, Spiderman 2 patch 1.002.003 also includes a long list of bug fixes.
Previously, a major Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update 1.002 added new features, changes and quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, some players have been experiencing issues with the game. The upcoming Marvel’s Spiderman 2 update 1.002.004 will fix the remaining issues.

Marvel’s Spider-man 2 Version 1.002.003 Patch Notes – April 18, 2024
Suit Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where masks and lenses appeared wavy on certain suits, notably the Amazing 2 Suit.
- Fixed a bug where the webbing on the Classic Suit appeared blurry.
- Fixed a bug where Peter’s Hellfire Gala had glowing lights around the mask.
- Fixed a bug where an orb of light appeared on Peter’s Iron Spider Suit.
Game Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where some users’ save data disappeared, particularly after v. 1.002.000.
- Fixed a bug where the game prompted users to start a new game instead of continuing their current NG+ save file.
- Fixed a bug where the sun moved across the sky incorrectly in the “Sunset” Time of Day setting.
- Fixed a bug where the Charge Jump tutorial prompt didn’t show up when avoiding the security guard in the “Roll Like We Used To” flashback mission.
- Fixed a bug where the L1+R1 prompts didn’t show up to pick up Dima’s steak in NG+.
- Fixed a bug where the duffle bag showed skin/suit damage.
General:
- Fixed environmental textures/bugs in the open world.
- Added general stability improvements to address common crashes and performance hiccups.
Accessibility:
- Fixed a bug where accessibility presets reset any additional customizations on death, restart, or reloading checkpoint.
- Fixed missing High Contrast shaders during the EMF Prospect Park Bee Drone mission.
- Fixed a bug where the screen reader automatically turned off when selecting a New Game save slot.
- Fixed a bug where the screen reader didn’t properly read certain text, including confirmation windows, the initial shortcut menu on setup, 120Hz display mode confirmation, and more.
- Added Skip Puzzle option to the tether puzzle in Make Your Own Choices.
