Rocket League Update 2.64 Patch Notes (Cartman’s Crash Out)

Rocket League update 2.64 is available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Rocket League 2.64 patch notes, a new limited-time event (Cartman’s Crash Out) arrives with cosmetic rewards, while preset slots expand for greater customization. Champions Field now honors RLCS champions. Nintendo Switch 2 players receive significant visual and performance enhancements. Apart from this, today’s Rocket League version 2.64 also fixes visual and audio bugs across cars, decals, and arenas.

Skip New Player Tutorial

  • Returning players who completed the tutorial will no longer be forced into it on new platforms (excluding Xbox)

Simplified Graphics Settings
  • Performance/Quality toggle removed; system now applies optimal settings automatically

Improved Resolution
  • Docked mode: Locked at 1080p, 60 FPS

  • Handheld mode: Dynamic resolution targeting 1080p, 60 FPS while adjusting for performance

Visual Quality Upgrades
  • Increased world detail

  • Higher handheld texture quality matching docked visuals

  • Sharper textures via improved anisotropic filtering

  • Enhanced lighting effects, including ambient occlusion

  • Higher-resolution shadows

Visual

  • Consistent taillight brightness across car bodies

  • Heatwave Decal now properly displays on Lamborghini Urus

  • RLCS ’25 and ’26 Decals no longer stretch on Fennec ZR-F hood

  • Chanoir Octane Decal no longer overrides painted trim

  • Champions Field screen distortion resolved

Audio

  • Balanced engine audio for BMW M4 GT3 Evo

  • Correct engine audio applied to Patty Wagon

  • Hologlass Goal Explosion sound no longer cuts off during gameplay

Previously, a major Rocket League update 2.18 added the 007’s Aston Martin DBS to the game. Unfortunately, players are still facing various bugs in the game. Today’s Rocket League patch 2.64 will resolve a few of these issues.
