Rocket League Update 2.49 Patch Notes (Season 18 Update)

Rocket League update 2.49 is available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Rocket League 2.49 patch notes, the latest season 18 update adds new content like Dodge Charger Daytona and Azura cars, Futura Garden Arena, and mutators like multi-ball and jump options. Competitive Dropshot replaces Snow Day. Apart from this, today’s Rocket League version 2.49 also includes Future Fashion BannerandBreathe Anthem. Matchmaking improved, car hitboxes adjusted, and voice reporting added. Bug fixes address visuals, gameplay, and UI issues.

Previously, a major Rocket League update 2.18 added the 007’s Aston Martin DBS to the game. Unfortunately, players are still facing various bugs in the game. Today’s Rocket League patch 2.49 will resolve a few of these issues.

New Features & Content

Mutators (Exhibition/Private Matches)

• New Additions:
  • Jumps: 2, 3, 4, Unlimited, Grounded Only, or None.
  • Ball Count: 1, 2, 4, or 6 balls.
  • Ball Gravity: Low, High, Super, Default.
  • Dodge Timer: 2s, 3s, Unlimited, Default.
  • Scoring Options:
    • Possession(1/2/3s control = points).
    • Demolish(1/2/3 points per demo).
    • Goal Points: Normal (0/2/3/5/10), Aerial (0/2/3/5/10), Assist (1/2/3).
  • Enforce Territories: Split Shot wall divides teams—demolition if entering opponent’s side.
• Expanded Existing Mutators:
  • Ball Type: Player Seeking, Dropshot, Score Absorb.
  • Max Score: 10–100 (increments of 10).
  • Demolish: On Ball Contact (with/without Friendly Fire).
  • Rumble: Grappling Hooks Only or Haymakers Only.

Season 17 Competitive Rewards

• Goal Explosions (based on highest rank + ≥10 wins at that rank):
  • Bronze → Supersonic Legend (tiered unlocks).
• Titles:
  • Grand Champion: Crimson titles (e.g.,S17 GRAND CHAMPION,S17 BLIZZARD WIZARD).
  • Supersonic Legend: White titles (e.g.,S17 SUPERSONIC LEGEND,S17 ICE TITAN).

Updates & Fixes

Gameplay Improvements

• Subregion Matchmaking: Better latency by pinging individual servers in selected regions.
• Car Adjustments:
  • Fixed center of mass forFormula 1 2021/2022(Plank hitbox). Other shifted-hitbox cars to be fixed later.
• Voice Reporting: Report players with audio evidence (via in-game reporting).
