Rocket League Update 2.48 Patch Notes Details

Rocket League update 2.48 details released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Rocket League 2.48 patch notes, 120 FPS support is back for Xbox Series X|S, along with a fix for missing Xbox replays. The Hatsune Miku event introduces new items, and Split Shot: Snow Day shakes up gameplay. Apart from this, today’s Rocket League version 2.48 also includes stability fixes.

Previously, a major Rocket League update 2.18 added the 007’s Aston Martin DBS to the game. Unfortunately, players are still facing various bugs in the game. Today’s Rocket League patch 2.48 will resolve a few of these issues.

Changes and Updates

120 FPS Support Restored on Xbox Series X|S

  • Full 120 FPS support is back for Xbox Series X and Series S.
  • A second round of makegoods will be provided for all players soon.

Xbox Replay Fix

  • A bug causing the removal of Rocket League replays on Xbox has been fixed.
  • Lost replays cannot be restored, but future replays will no longer be affected.

Epic Online Services Overlay

  • Social notifications from the Epic Online Services overlay have been disabled.
  • Players can still use the in-game friends list to party up.

New Content

Rocket League x Hatsune Miku Collaboration

  • Complete Challenges to unlock Hatsune Miku-themed Toppers, a Player Anthem, and other items.

Split Shot: Snow Day (New Limited Time Mode)

  • The Split Shot wall is added to Snow Day, altering gameplay mechanics.
  • Players can move through the wall but will be instantly demoed if they touch any surface on the opponent’s side.
  • Snow Day’s hockey puck replaces the standard ball.
