Rainbow Six Siege Update Y8S3.3 Patch Notes (R6 Y8S3.3)

Rainbow Six Siege update Y8S3.3 details released for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One. According to R6 Y8S3.3 patch notes, the latest update brings changes to rebalance operators and their gadgets, ensuring a dynamic and engaging gameplay experience. Apart from this, Rainbow 6 Siege patch Y8S3.3 also includes general stability fixes.

Previously, a big season 7 update added a new defender Azami (Kiba barrier gadget), permanent Team Deathmatch mode, and changes for Goyo, Melusi, Thunderbird, Kali, Valkyrie, and Zero. Recently, a hotfix Y7S1.2 was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s R6 update Y8S3.3 will fix a few of these issues.

Rainbow Six Siege Update Y8S3.3 Patch Notes – October 6, 2023

Operator Balancing:

Frost

• Teammate Revive: Players caught in Frost’s Welcome Mat can now wait for a teammate to perform the revive, avoiding the debuff upon escape.
• Stronger Debuff: In addition to the inability to sprint, a movement speed reduction of 20% has been added, along with an increased debuff duration of 1 minute.
• Slower Revive Animation: Trapped players will now need 4 seconds to exit the trap, regardless of the revive method.

Welcome Mat Changes:

• Removal time by teammate: 4 seconds (was 4.3 seconds), with no debuff applied.
• Removal time by trapped player: 4 seconds (was 2.5 seconds).
• Debuff for self-removal: 60-second duration, 20% slower movement, inability to sprint, and leaves a blood trail.
• Being caught by a Welcome Mat is considered entering the Down But Not Out state, with no second chances in the same round.

Frag Grenades Changes:

Iana

• Replaced Frag Grenades with Stun Grenades.
• Added the Gonne-6 to her loadout.

Finka

• Added Frag Grenades as the 3rd gadget option.
• Removed the Gonne-6 from her loadout.

Gridlock

• Replaced Breach Charges with Frag Grenades.
• Removed the Gonne-6 from her loadout.

Sens (POF-9)

• Reduced vertical recoil.
• Reduced lateral recoil.
• Reduced recoil increase after long bursts.

Tachanka (DP27)

• Increased damage to 60 (from 49).

Warden

• Changed armor rating to 3 (from 2).
• Changed speed rating to 1 (from 2).
