Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege update 2.58 (Y8S3.1) on PS4, PC, PS5(version 1.000.062), and Xbox. According to the official Rainbow Six Siege patch notes, the latest update addressed numerous issues have been addressed in the latest update, including bug fixes related to gameplay, level design, audio, operators, and user experience. Additionally, today’s Rainbow Six Siege version 2.58 also fixes Ram’s Auto Breacher functionality and map-specific problems.
Previously, a major Rainbow 6 Siege update 2.38 added a new operator, a new gadget, crossplay, a new ranked map, and much more. Recently, Siege update 2.42 also added minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Rainbow 6 Siege patch 2.58 (R6 update Y8S3.1) will fix a few of these issues.

GAMEPLAY
- Addressed a bug where Ram’s BU-GI Auto Breacher didn’t completely destroy first-floor walls of 1F Strip Club on the Club House map.
- Addressed a bug where Ram’s BU-GI Auto Breacher didn’t destroy Thunderbird’s Kona Station if it was placed on a reinforced surface.
- Addressed a bug where Operators would get stuck inside a barrel when exiting rappel on the Fortress map.
- Addressed a bug where the Defuser couldn’t be retrieved if dropped when entering or exiting rappel stance at EXT North Rappel on the Tower map.
- Addressed a bug where Ram’s BU-GI Auto Breacher couldn’t go through the wall at 2F Infirmary on the Yacht map.
- Addressed a bug where attacker drones could reach a spot with a useful line of sight and couldn’t be destroyed on the Nighthaven map.
- Addressed a bug where the third spawn location description was missing for Attackers on the Bank map.
- Addressed a bug where Fenrir’s F-NATT Dread Mine didn’t open in the end-of-round replay when activated.
- Addressed a bug where some gadgets were missing collision and could be deployed inside Ram’s BU-GI Auto Breacher.
LEVEL DESIGN
- Addressed a bug where the staircase connecting 1F Central Hallway to 2F Central stairs was labeled as B Central Stairs on the Clubhouse map.
- Addressed a bug where indestructible windows could be barricaded during the Defense tutorial.
- Addressed a bug where wall studs were visible in B1 Red Stairs of the Kanal map.
- Addressed a bug where barricades floated when placed in the doorway at 2F Dorm Main Hall on the Oregon map.
- Addressed a bug where the wall between 1F Bar and 1F Lounge on the Tower map couldn’t be properly destroyed.
- Addressed a bug where Operators could get out of bounds by using a space between a ladder and railing at EXT South Roof on the Tower map.
- Addressed a bug where a portion of the wall couldn’t be destroyed at 2F Master Bedroom of the Chalet map.
AUDIO
- Addressed a bug where there was missing SFX when destroying the canister on Mira’s Black Mirror.
- Addressed a bug where there was missing VFX when Operator phones dropped for Dokkaebi were hacked by the Kludge Drone.
- Addressed a bug where there was missing SFX when drones were destroyed while in support mode during the end of the round.
OPERATORS
- Addressed a bug where Ram’s BU-GI Auto Breacher laser was visible through walls with low-quality settings.
USER EXPERIENCE
- Addressed a bug where the user didn’t receive a penalty when reported for voice abuse in multiple sessions.
- Addressed a bug where Warden’s Smart Glasses thumbnail appeared in low resolution in the Operators tab.
- Addressed a bug where the cursor didn’t appear in the Operator Guides while using free camera during Match Replay.
- Addressed a bug where players weren’t highlighted after swapping teams in a Custom Game lobby.
- Addressed a bug where saved game mode settings for the Quick Match and Arcade playlists reset after restarting the game.
