Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege update 2.56 on PS4, PC, PS5(version 1.000.060), and Xbox. According to the officialRainbow Six Siege patch notes, the latest hotfix resolves issues including a bug where the lounge hatch on Kanal cannot be reinforced. Additionally, today’s Rainbow Six Siege version 2.56 also includes fixes for several crashing issues.
Previously, a major Rainbow 6 Siege update 2.38 added a new operator, a new gadget, crossplay, a new ranked map, and much more. Recently, Siege update 2.42 also added minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Rainbow 6 Siege patch 2.56 will fix a few of these issues.

- Addressed a bug where the lounge hatch on Kanal cannot be reinforced.
- Several crashing issues have been addressed.
- A cheat allows the defuser to be picked up again after being planted.
- Fix an exploit in which players could spin next to the washing machines on Oregon to cause FPS drops for everyone in the match.
- Fixed various stability fixes.
