According to the official Siege update 3.16 patch notes, the latest Operation Tenfold Pursuit update adds Thatcher’s Remaster, new weapon PMR90A2, and the new E.G.S. Disruptor gadget. Apart from this, Rainbow 6 Siege patch 3.16 also introduces experimental Armor and Speed tuning. Extensive balancing revamps Operators and gadgets, supported by improved matchmaking, modernization updates, onboarding enhancements, Battle Pass rewards, and a wide range of stability and bug fixes.

New Shared Weapon – PMR90A2

DSEG System Overhaul

  • Devices affected by a disable field cannot activate via wireless signals.

  • Operators within the field also lose activation capability.

  • Both Operator and device must exit the field for reactivation.

Operator Adjustments

Mute
  • Increased jammer radius.

  • Now only disrupts wireless-dependent devices.

Aruni
  • Surya Gates can be instantly deactivated by EMP Impact Grenades or Thatcher’s E.G.S. Disruptor.

Castle
  • Armor Panels can be electrified, improving anti-entry defense and tactical counterplay.

Ace
  • Speed reduced to 1; Armor increased to 3.

  • Gains Stun Grenades in loadout.

Hibana
  • X-Kairos auto-reloads after 0.4s; fuse time reduced 5s → 4s.

  • Gains Claymore as secondary gadget.

Thermite
  • Gains one additional Exothermic Charge.

Previously, a big season 7 update added a new defender Azami (Kiba barrier gadget), permanent Team Deathmatch mode, and changes for Goyo, Melusi, Thunderbird, Kali, Valkyrie, and Zero. Recently, a hotfix Y7S1.2 was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s R6 Siege patch 3.16 will fix a few of these issues.
