Rainbow Six Siege (R6) Update 3.04 Patch Notes (R6X Update 3.04)

Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege update 3.04 (Y10S2.2) on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official R6 update 3.04 patch notes, the latest update improves Dual Front mode with health and map fixes, corrects major gameplay bugs, and enhances performance on Intel-Nvidia setups. Apart from this, Rainbow Six Siege patch 3.04 also fixes visual and audio glitches

Patch Summary

• Dual Front Downed Health Adjusted: Downed Operators now have 50 health.

• Clash Logic Bomb Fix: Clash’s shield no longer blocks Dokkaebi’s Logic Bomb.

• Thermite Charge Fix: Charges now react correctly to electricity activation.

• Dual Front Bugs Resolved: Fixed healing reset and level detail issues.

• Performance Enhancements: Fixed major FPS drops and stuttering on specific hardware.

• Clash Shield Interaction: Clash’s CCE Shield no longer stops Dokkaebi’s Logic Bomb when equipped.

• Thermite Charge Behavior: Exothermic Charge and Hard Breach Charge now get destroyed if electricity activates after deployment.

• Explosive Damage Fix: Explosives no longer injure Operators through drone vents protected by metal.

• Rappel Glitch: Fixed bug where an Operator gets stuck on a window frame during a barricade placement.

• Dual Front Healing: Fixed passive healing reset after securing an enemy sector.

• Reinforcement Block: Skopos’s Idle Shell no longer prevents wall reinforcement from inside.

• Custom Game Rappel Kill: Fixed issue where rappelling through a window doesn’t kill enemies in online Custom Games.

• Clash Visual Bug: Fixed leg clipping through the CCE Shield while crouched.

Access & Interface

• Siege X Access: PlayStation® players no longer receive a free weekend expired error.

• Tactical Map Fix: Spawn locations can now be selected during the Planning Phase.

• Clash Reminders Bug: Climb and Rappel reminders no longer appear while her shield and taser are active.

Cosmetics & Visuals

• Elite Badge Display Fixes:

  • Wamai’s Director of Acquisition badge only displays when owned.

  • Clash’s Honor-Bound Shield badge only displays when owned.

• Hostage Icon Bug: Hostage icon no longer appears for all killed players carrying the hostage.

• Weapon Skin Issue: Missing thumbnail for M249 Filigree Blaster fixed.

• Alibi LOD: Fixed morphing level of detail issues for Sophisticated Veneer ability skin.

• Victory Celebration Audio: Valkyrie’s Quintessence of Form SFX no longer plays in background while browsing.

• Lighting & LOD Fixes: Improved level of detail and lighting in the District map of Dual Front.

• Shooting Range: Fixed Change Operator button not working.

• Window Mode Bug: Game no longer starts in a borderless window acting as fullscreen on high-resolution monitors.

AUDIO

Sound Issues

• Consulate Map Sensors: Motion sensors in 1F Visa Office now play sound when Operators pass.

Previously, a big season update added a new defender Azami (Kiba barrier gadget). Recently, a hotfix Y7S1.2 was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s R6 Siege patch 3.04 will fix a few of these issues.
