Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege update 2.98 (Y10S1.2) on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official R6 update 2.98 patch notes, the latest update fixes Rauora’s D.O.M. Panel, addresses deployment, placement, and trigger responsiveness. Killcam now correctly displays its position. Universal weapon skins for Skopós’ PCX-33 are now visible. Apart from this, Rainbow Six Siege patch 2.98 also includes stability fixes.

Fixed – Rauora’s D.O.M. Panel no longer fails to trigger if closed while on a drone.

Fixed – D.O.M. Panel can now be deployed correctly when facing a deployable shield.

Fixed – Killcam now displays the correct position of the D.O.M. Panel.

Fixed – D.O.M. Panel trigger no longer appears closed or missing at the end of a round.

Fixed – Corrected placement of the D.O.M. Panel on double doors at the end of a round.

Fixed – D.O.M. Panel now properly deploys on lower floor doorways when shot through a hatch at specific angles.

User Experience

Previously, a big season update added a new defender Azami (Kiba barrier gadget). Recently, a hotfix Y7S1.2 was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s R6 Siege patch 2.98 will fix a few of these issues.
