Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege update 2.97 ion PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official R6 update 2.97 patch notes, the latest update adds improvements to Rauora’s D.O.M. Panel functionality, Maestro’s Evil Eye visibility, and a UI correction for the “Ankle Biter” drone skin. Apart from this, Rainbow Six Siege patch 2.97 also addresses multiple issues related to gameplay, operator mechanics, and user experience.

- Addressed a bug where end-of-match actions were recorded for players who disconnected and reconnected.
- Fixed an issue where several operators’ left hands clipped through secondary weapons during prone reload animations.
- Fixed an issue preventing Rauora’s D.O.M. Panel from being deployed when facing the front of a deployable shield.
Operators
- Addressed a bug where deploying a breach charge near Rauora’s D.O.M. Panel trigger caused the flaps to close.
- Fixed an issue where successfully deploying Rauora’s D.O.M. Panel did not award points.
- Addressed a bug where the D.O.M. Panel trigger failed to open when the panel was closed on top of a drone.
- Fixed an issue where the D.O.M. Panel would not deploy properly on doorways below when fired through a hatch.
- Addressed a bug where the D.O.M. Panel would not deploy correctly when fired through small wall holes.
- Fixed an issue where the crosshair for Rauora’s D.O.M. Panel remained visible when using Observation Tools.
- Addressed a bug where Maestro’s Evil Eye laser light was improperly positioned, obstructing the player’s view at certain angles.
User Experience

Fixed an issue where an incorrect message appeared in the “Ankle Biter” drone skin description.
Previously, a big season update added a new defender Azami (Kiba barrier gadget). Recently, a hotfix Y7S1.2 was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s R6 Siege patch 2.97 will fix a few of these issues.
