Rainbow Six Siege (R6) Update 2.95 Patch Notes (R6S Patch Notes)

Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege update 2.95 ion PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official R6 update 2.95 patch notes, the latest update introduces Rauora with the D.O.M. Panel Launcher, an optimized matchmaking system, and the official Reputation System rollout. Apart from this, Rainbow Six Siege patch 2.95 also improves game performance with DX11 removal, and AI training expands.

Reputation System Activation

The Reputation System moves out of beta, resetting player standings. Rewards and restrictions are applied based on reputation levels:

Standing Levels & Effects:

• Dishonorable – Locked from Ranked, Standard, and Siege Cup; No Ranked rewards; -50% XP & Renown.
• Disruptive – Locked from Siege Cup; No Ranked rewards; -25% XP & Renown.
• Respectable – +1 bonus point per match.
• Esteemed – +2 bonus points per match + Exclusive card background.
• Exemplary – +3 bonus points per match + Exclusive card background.

Ranked rewards are locked until reaching Respectable standing.

Dynamic Matchmaking

• New system adjusts matchmaking based on server demand.
• Ensures better match quality during peak hours and improves matchmaking in low-population regions.

Celebration Pack

• Features top Event collections and Seasonal signature skins from Siege’s first nine years.
• Unlockable with Renown and available in the Battle Pass.

Seasonal Weapon Skins

• New Embers weapon and attachment skin.
• Core Strength charm and Tectonic Reveal operator card background.
• Available for purchase throughout the season and permanently added to inventory once unlocked.

Tweaks & Improvements

Game Health

• DX11 Removal: PC now runs exclusively on DX12 for improved performance.
• Cosmetic Streaming: On-demand downloads for charms, with other cosmetics under review.
• Texture Updates: Higher resolution wooden stud textures across maps.

Map Training & AI Enhancements

• New training maps: Presidential Plane, Yacht, Favela.
• Versus AI now includes: Rauora.

Previously, a big season update added a new defender Azami (Kiba barrier gadget). Recently, a hotfix Y7S1.2 was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s R6 Siege patch 2.95 will fix a few of these issues.
