Rainbow Six Siege (R6) Update 2.91 Patch Notes (Ver. 1.000.096)

Rainbow Six Siege update 2.91 (version 1.000.096) is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox. According to the official R6 update 2.91 patch notes, the latest update brings crossplay settings changes for consoles. Apart from this, Rainbow 6 Siege patch 2.91 also fixes Grim’s Kawan Hive Launcher ammo issue and resolves AI text chat moderation problems for a smoother player experience.

Previously, a big season 7 update added a new defender Azami (Kiba barrier gadget), permanent Team Deathmatch mode, and changes for Goyo, Melusi, Thunderbird, Kali, Valkyrie, and Zero. • The default crossplay setting is now reset to “Consoles Preferred” to align with most console players’ preferences.

Grim – Kawan Hive Launcher

• Grim’s Kawan Hive Launcher now has the correct ammo count of 5.

AI Text Chat Moderation

• Fixed an issue where UI-only messages were being removed after being sent repeatedly.
• No gameplay impact, but the fix ensures better player experience.
• Further adjustments will be made based on player feedback.
