Rainbow Six Siege update 2.84 (version 1.000.088) is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official R6 update 2.84 patch notes, the latest update resolves several issues with gameplay, Operators, and Skopós’s V10-Pantheon Shells, fixes various input, graphical, and spectator problems. Apart from this, Rainbow 6 Siege patch 2.84 also addresses crashes with DX12.

Previously, a big season 7 update added a new defender Azami (Kiba barrier gadget), permanent Team Deathmatch mode, and changes for Goyo, Melusi, Thunderbird, Kali, Valkyrie, and Zero.   • Fixed: Synaptic charm equipping a placeholder charm.
  • Fixed: Thunderbird’s Kona Station healing while affected by EMP or Zoto Canister when elite uniform is equipped.
  • Fixed: Inability to type in chat using the Cyrillic layout.
  • Fixed: Deployable Shield blocking EXT sewer, preventing Attackers from passing.
  • Fixed: Drones seeing through walls on 2F Yellow Stairs in Consulate map.
  • Fixed: Missing Tutorial Rewards modal after completing tutorials.
  • Fixed: Skopós’s V10-Pantheon Shells preventing players from vaulting through windows.
  • Fixed: Unable to customize Skopós’s V10-Pantheon Shells Swap action on controllers.

  • Fixed: Excessive light emission from the ceiling projector in 1F Projector Room on the Kanal map.

OPERATORS

  • Fixed: Skopós’s unusual position and distortion during the Victory Celebration and team lineup.
  • Fixed: Various camera, collision, and texture issues for Skopós in Free for All Arcade game mode.
  • Fixed: Fuze, Thunderbird, Clash, and Aruni becoming invisible when equipped with skins from certain Esports bundles.
  • Fixed: Operator feet sliding inward when using an Observation Tool while idle.
  • Fixed: Skopós’s foot lifting while idle.
  • Fixed: Operator’s left hand bending unnaturally with the knife model floating above during melee attacks after firing the .44 Vendetta.
  • Fixed: Skopós not dying from headshots in certain Arcade game modes.

USER EXPERIENCE

  • Fixed: Player cards not collapsing or expanding correctly while spectating.
  • Fixed: Skopós’s idle V10-Pantheon Shells occasionally spawning in T-Pose.
  • Fixed: Inability to customize Skopós’s V10-Pantheon Shells Swap action on controllers (duplicate issue resolved).
  • Fixed: Stutter issues with DX12.
  • Fixed: Crashes during start-up with older GPUs on DX12.
