Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege update 2.60 on PS4, PC, PS5(version 1.000.064), and Xbox. According to the official R6 Siege patch notes, the latest update adds operator balancing tweaks including Frost’s Welcome Mat changes, Warden’s armor upgrade, and Tachanka’s damage boost. Additionally, today’s Rainbow Six Siege version 2.60 also addressed various bugs, level design, and audio issues.
Previously, a major Rainbow 6 Siege update 2.38 added a new operator, a new gadget, crossplay, a new ranked map, and much more. Recently, Siege update 2.42 also added minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Rainbow 6 Siege patch 2.60 will fix a few of these issues.

Operator Balancing Changes
Frost
- Self-Removal of Welcome Mat: Now possible without teammate assistance.
- Downed State Rules: Second fall onto a Welcome Mat leads to elimination.
- Debuff After Self-Removal: 60-second debuff affecting movement, health, and leaving a blood trail.
Warden
- Armor Upgrade: Now at 3, up from 2.
- Speed Reduction: Down to 1 from 2.
Gridlock
- Gadget Swap: Frag Grenades replace Breach Charges.
- Secondary Removal: Gonne-6 taken out.
Finka
- New Gadget Option: Frag Grenades added.
- Secondary Removal: Gonne-6 taken out.
Iana
- Gadget Swap: Stun Grenades replace Frag Grenades.
- Secondary Addition: Gonne-6 added.
Sens
- POF-9 Recoil: Overall reduction in vertical and lateral recoil.
Tachanka
- DP27 Damage: Boosted to 60 from 49.
Game Health Improvements
Cross-Save Functionality
- Profile Sync: Visuals, gameplay options, and progression now cross-platform.
- Console-Specific Sync: Operator loadouts and weapon attachments.
