Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege update 2.52 () on PS4, PC, PS5(version 1.000.056), and Xbox. According to the official R6 update 2.52 patch notes, the latest update resolves issues with gameplay, level design, operators, audio, and user experience. Additionally, today’s R6 version 2.52 (1.000.056) also includes fixes for missing content, gameplay mechanics, level design exploits, operator abilities, audio glitches, and user interface have been resolved in the update.
Previously, a major R6 Siege update 2.38 added a new operator, a new gadget, crossplay, a new ranked map, and much more. Recently, R6 hotfix 2.42 also added minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Rainbow 6 Siege update 2.52 will fix a few of these issues.

- Added a new button in custom online games to allow hosts to randomize teams.
BUG FIXES
Gameplay
- Fixed an issue where Grim was missing from the Operators roster in the Golden Gun game mode.
- Fixed an issue where the Dummy Health option didn’t affect newly spawned dummies.
- Fixed an issue where terrain destruction wasn’t reproduced when players joined a match in progress.
- Fixed an issue where players got trapped when spawning at 1F Vending Stair of the Nighthaven map.
- Fixed an issue where FPS dropped when Solis’ SPEC-IO Electro Sensor scanned Sens’ R.O.U. Projector System.
- Fixed an issue where opponents could activate devices that stick to walls from behind barricades.
- Fixed an issue where barricades were destroyed after shooting 20 bullets into a specific spot to avoid the “vault” prompt.
- Fixed an issue where loadout was randomized when eliminated for the first time in an arcade match in progress and spawning as a random Operator.
- Fixed various Team Deathmatch issues.
Level Design
- Fixed an issue where defenders were detected outside when navigating in B Old Office of the Villa map.
- Fixed an issue where unfair line of sight could be gained using Azami’s Kiba Barrier to vault onto a table at 2F Yellow Stairs of the Consulate map.
- Fixed an issue where the record player couldn’t be broken at 1F Lounge of the Emerald Plains map.
- Fixed an issue where there was an unintended line of sight towards 1F Visa Office through the drone vent on the eastern wall at EXT Parking of the Consulate map.
- Fixed an issue where there was an exploitable line of sight from a table at 1F West Corridor of the Consulate map.
- Fixed an issue where there was an exploitable line of sight on stacked supply crates at 1F Piano Room of the Consulate map.
- Fixed an issue where players got stuck in the generator after rappelling at EXT Garage Way of the Consulate map.
- Fixed an issue where players could spawn kill from 2F catering on players exiting Police Line spawn of the Consulate map.
- Fixed collision, asset, and texture issues on various maps.
Audio
- Fixed an issue where SFX was missing when hitting Azami’s Kiba Barrier with a shield.
- Fixed an issue where multiple voice lines played when Fenrir’s F-NATT Dread Mine was thrown.
- Fixed an issue where voice chat audio came from Windows default devices instead of selected options in-game.
- Fixed an issue where incorrect SFX played when Brava’s Kludge Drone hacked Fenrir’s F-NATT Dread Mine.
- Fixed various audio issues.
Operators
- Fixed an issue where Ace’s S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breacher couldn’t break wooden floors with carpet over it.
- Fixed an issue where the Bailiff 410 reloaded faster when activating Fenrir’s F-NATT Dread Mine.
- Fixed an issue where FPS dropped when Clash’s CCE Electro-Shield ability was spammed.
- Fixed an issue where Fenrir’s F-NATT Dread Mine location appeared as a placeholder when placed in EXT Coast Guard Roof of the Kanal map.
User Experience
- Fixed an issue where multiple strings of text were missing from the Battle Pass progression tab.
- Fixed an issue where stick input when rotating the camera in match replay didn’t reflect the user’s input.
- Fixed an issue where players received an error after accepting an invite from a player who was previously in their Squad.
- Fixed an issue where the toggle for match replay was missing from custom games.
- Fixed various Shop and Customization issues.
- Fixed various UI issues.
