Rainbow Six Siege (R6) Update 1.000.125 Patch Notes on January 20, 2026

Ubisoft has released a new Rainbow Six Siege update 1.000.125 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official R6 update 1.000.125 patch notes, the latest update boosts Thorn’s trap reliability, restores Mozzie’s Super Shorty, and expands Echo’s Yokai utility. Several Operators receive refinement buffs improving timing, duration, and usability. Apart from this, Rainbow Six Siege patch 1.000.125 also includes weapon and gadget adjustments, while numerous bug fixes address gameplay, navigation, and audio issues.

Operator Balancing

Thorn

Razor Bloom Shell Adjustments
  • Trigger time after detection reduced to 1.35s (was 2.9s).

  • Activation time after deployment reduced to 1s (was 5s).

  • Max damage set to 125 (was 180).

  • Max damage zone set to 0–1m.

  • Detection and explosion range remains 4m.

  • Slow and bleed effect applied for 15s after hit.

  • Starting shells increased to 4 (was 3).

Mozzie

Loadout Update
  • Super Shorty shotgun added as a secondary.

Echo

Yokai Drone Update
  • Drone quantity increased to 3 (was 2).


Refinement Changes

Osa

  • Talon Shield deployment time reduced to 1.8s (was 2.3s).

Capitao

  • Incendiary Bolt burn duration increased to 13s (was 10s).

Lion

  • EE-ONE-D scan duration increased to 3s (was 2s).

Maestro

  • Evil Eye battery life increased to 8s (was 6s).

  • Recharge duration updated accordingly.

Jackal

  • Eyenox scanning range increased to 12m (was 8m).


Weapon Adjustments

UMP45

  • Damage increased to 42 (was 38).

  • Lateral recoil improved.


Bug Fixes

Gameplay

  • Outdoor detection fixed in 2F Courtyard Corridor on Fortress.

  • AI failing to retrieve dropped defuser on stair bases resolved.

  • AI contextual ping spam without cooldown corrected.

  • PMR90A2 vertical recoil fire-cap issue fixed.

  • EMP interaction with Kanal metal detectors restored.

Level Design

  • Vault obstruction in 2F Commander’s Office on Fortress fixed.

User Experience

  • In-game Report Player panel navigation restored.

Audio

  • Missing melee weapon-handling sound effects restored.

Previously, a big season update added a new defender Azami (Kiba barrier gadget). Recently, a hotfix Y7S1.2 was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s R6 Siege patch 1.000.125 will fix a few of these issues.
