PUBG Update 1.011 Patch Notes (PS5 Version 1.011.000) – January 15, 2026

PUBG update 1.011 (v1.011.000) is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox One. According to the official PUBG 1.011 patch notes, the latest update 39.2 introduces Erangel: Subzero with Satellite Crash Zones, the Frost Zone Bomb, and the Thermal Protection Suit. Rondo receives loot balance adjustments, and PC players gain a new Secondary Password security system. Additionally, PUBG console version 1.011.000 also resolves various gameplay, UI, world, and cosmetic bugs, along with improvements to TDM notifications, Workshop items, and Hideout salvaging.

Erangel: Subzero

Satellite Crash Special Zone

• Special Zone triggers up to four times per match within the Safe Zone.

• Crash warnings appear on screen with marked locations on map and minimap.

• Satellite crashes release modules generating Blue Zone spheres (10 DPS) with freezing effects.

• Satellites drop loot and deal impact damage.

Frost Zone Bomb

• Throwable that deploys a freezing Blue Zone sphere (20 m max radius, 14 DPS).

• Deployment can be canceled by movement, damage, or collision.

• Can be attached to most vehicles.

• Cannot be destroyed or defused once deployed.

• Available only from Satellites.

Thermal Protection Suit

• Reduces Blue Zone damage and prevents freezing while worn.

• Visual appearance changes based on durability.

• Stacks with Jammer Pack; durability consumed Jammer Pack → Suit.

• Spawns only from Satellites.

Weather

• Stronger blizzards and intensified cold across Normal, Ranked, and Custom Matches.

World: Rondo

Spawn Adjustments

• General item spawns rebalanced for consistency with other 8×8 maps.

• Increased weapon, attachment, and Throwable spawns in Secret Rooms.

• Reduced Inflatable Boat fixed spawn points and total quantity.

PC Feature: Secondary Password

Setup & Rules

• Requires 6–8 digit numeric password and SMS authentication for setup/reset.

• Reauthentication needed even if prior SMS setup was completed.

• Prompted once every 24 hours or when logging in from a new PC.

• Incorrect attempts (5+) trigger reset; more than 10 SMS attempts restricts codes for 24 hours.

Ranked Requirements

• Secondary Password required for Ranked mode.

• Parties with a member lacking the password cannot queue Ranked.

• Previous SMS authentication requirement removed.

Arcade

Team Deathmatch

• Adjusted on-screen notification visuals and duration.

Workshop

• Added new Minx and Maven sets to Hunter’s Chest and Archivist’s Chest.

• Added Survivor Pass: Spirit Squad items.

Hideout

Previously, a major PUBG update 1.007 (39.1) added freezing Blue Zone effects, heavy map alterations, and dynamic winter weather. The new BZ Grenade Launcher expands tactical control with deployable Blue Zone spheres. Gunplay sees major recoil tuning across VSS, SLR, SKS, AUG, and M416. Casual Mode shifts to a 60-minute limit, while UGC Alpha returns with new devices and modes. Unfortunately, since the last major update, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s PUBG patch 1.011 will fix a few of these issues.
