PUBG Update 1.007 Patch Notes for PS5 (Version 1.007.000) – (Patch 39.1)

PUBG update 1.007 (v1.007.000) is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox One. According to the official PUBG 1.007 patch notes, the latest update 39.1 (Erangel: Subzero) adds freezing Blue Zone effects, heavy map alterations, and dynamic winter weather. The new BZ Grenade Launcher expands tactical control with deployable Blue Zone spheres. Gunplay sees major recoil tuning across VSS, SLR, SKS, AUG, and M416. Casual Mode shifts to a 60-minute limit, while UGC Alpha returns with new devices and modes. Additionally, PUBG console version 1.007.000 also includes a long list of bug fixes and changes.

Erangel: Subzero Update

World & Area Modifications

• Stalber fully frozen due to cryogenic gas exposure.

• Shelter impacted by Satellite crashes with potential high-value loot.

• Sosnovka Military Base & Boatyard significantly altered.

• Partially collapsed bridge to Sosnovka after Satellite impact.

• Southwestern Erangel restructured by environmental damage.

• Crashed Satellite wreckage added across select areas.

• Frozen rivers & snow accumulation reshaped terrain and traversal routes.

Blue Zone Changes (Main Keyword: Freezing Effect)

• Freezing effect applied across all modes except TDM.

• No changes to Blue Zone damage, speed, or radius.

• New visual and sound cues based on damage tiers.

• Jammer Pack does not block freezing.

• Same freezing effect added to BZ Grenade and BZ Grenade Launcher spheres.

BZ Grenade

• Blue Zone sphere now inflicts freezing identical to actual Blue Zone.

New Weapon: BZ Grenade Launcher (Main Keyword)

Weapon Details

• Single-shot, break-open launcher exclusive to Erangel: Subzero.

• Uses 40mm BZ Grenades (ammo weight: 20).

• Creates a 7.5 m radius Blue Zone sphere after a delay when attached to surfaces.

• Deals 8 damage per second, weaker than the thrown version.

• Warning sound plays before activation.

• Does not trigger on water.

• Spawns with 2–3 rounds in World, Secret Rooms, and crashed Satellites.

• World Map and Minimap updated to reflect all environmental changes.

• Red Zone disabled across Erangel.

• Fixed an issue where the leg became transparent when wearing the “Smoke Stalker Shorts with Ripped Leggings” together with the “Pearl Studded Stockings and Shoes.”

• (PC) Fixed an issue where, under specific conditions, Dorian-exclusive Contender emotes could be used by other characters.

Previously, a major PUBG update 2.18 added a brand new vehicle – the Food Truck, Changing Weather, various map improvements on Deston, and more. Unfortunately, since the last major update, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s PUBG patch 1.007 will fix a few of these issues.
