PUBG update 1.009 (v1.009.000) is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox One. According to the official PUBG 1.009 patch notes, the latest update improves snowfall duration, intensity, and accumulation on Erangel: Subzero for PlayStation/Xbox players. Additionally, PUBG console version 1.009.000 also fixed a Jammer Pack issue that prevented its function when using Emergency Pickup.

Previously, a major PUBG update 1.007 (39.1) added freezing Blue Zone effects, heavy map alterations, and dynamic winter weather. The new BZ Grenade Launcher expands tactical control with deployable Blue Zone spheres. Gunplay sees major recoil tuning across VSS, SLR, SKS, AUG, and M416. Casual Mode shifts to a 60-minute limit, while UGC Alpha returns with new devices and modes. Unfortunately, since the last major update, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s PUBG patch 1.009 will fix a few of these issues.
