A new Payday 2 update 236.1 is available to download on PC (Steam). According to the official Payday 2 patch notes, the latest update issues with the Kang Arms Model 54 Pistol’s underbarrel, where it didn’t fire properly. Today’s Payday 2 patch 236.1 download size is around 43.85MB.
Previously, Payday 2 update 233 addressed the alignment of the Cassian Elite Scope x4.5 on a number of weapons. Unfortunately, since the last major update 236, players are facing a number of problems. Today’s PAYDAY 2 236.1 will fix a few of these issues.

Payday 2 Patch 236.1 Changelog – April 28, 2023
- Fixed some issues with the Kang Arms Model 54 Pistol’s underbarrel, where it didn’t fire properly.
- Added extra ammo to Deimos exclusive set, so the total amount is now 7, when fully loaded.
- Fixed the new weapon colours to give more clarity and uniformity when equipped on a weapon.
- Fixed an alignment issue, with mods that contain lasers, when equipped on the Campbell 74 LMG.
- Fixed an issue that was causing the damage on the Deimos shotgun to be the exact same, regardless of chosen firing mode.
- Fixed an issue causing weapons with an active underbarrel to not aim down sights properly or have unique viewmodel changes.
