Palia Update 1.007 Patch Notes (Patch 0.197) – November 4, 2025

Palia update 1.007 (version 1.007.000) is available to download on PS5 and PC(Steam). According to the official Palia patch notes, the latest update celebrates the harvest season with new decorative crops, fairytale-themed decor, and the Great Palian Potluck event. Players can now enjoy interactive benches in Kilima, expanded floor decoration options, and seasonal community fun—all while soundtracked by the new Elderwood OST. Additionally, Palia patch 0.197 also includes stability fixes.

Decorative Crops and Fairytale Decor

• Decorative crops can now be purchased for Medals at the Gardening Guild Store.

• Adds aesthetic crops including Cotton, Tomato, Blueberry, Apple, Peppers, Napa Cabbage, and Beans.

• Introduces Planterlife Dirt Pile, compatible with any decorative crop.

• Decorative crops can be placed directly in the ground, pots, or planters.

• Items suitable for flower pots can also be placed into dirt piles.

Bulletin Board Event: The Bounty Donation Drive

• Seasonal charity event hosted by Chayne.

• Donate items under four categories: Crops, Shelf-Safe Foods, Supplies, and Homestead Furniture.

• Players receive exclusive fairytale-themed Floors and Wallpapers from Tish.

• Event rewards are time-limited but planned to return later.

Kilima Village Interactive Furniture

• Players can now sit on benches across Kilima Village.

• More seating options to be added in future updates.

Community Event: The Great Palian Potluck

• Event Duration: November 4–11

• Community-wide cooking goal of 20 million dishes.

• Ingredients sourced from gardening, fishing, hunting, ranching, and foraging.

• Join Cooking Parties or cook solo to contribute and unlock seasonal rewards.

• Track milestone progress via Discord and official social media.

Elderwood OST

• Elderwood Original Soundtrack now available on Spotify.

• Vinyl edition available for collectors.

Madrinas Collaboration

• Introducing the Madrinas Fun Guy Plush.

• Currently exclusive to Madrinas pre-orders.

Floor Decoration Updates

• Expanded list of placeable items on various floors, including the Alchemist Cottage Deck Floor.

• New compatible items include:

  • Spring Fever Lamps, Pergola, and String Lights (Small, Medium, Large)

Gameplay Fixes

• Fixed an inconsistency in the visual growth stages for newly introduced flowers and bushes.
• Fixed an issue where the user was unable to access the Search bar in the Auto-crafters.
• Fixed an issue where the Search function did not work in the Modification Bench.
• Several Daily Quests were fixed to now work properly and added back into the pool.
• Resolved an issue where party loot was not functioning correctly in the live environment.
• Resolved a multiplayer issue where Bees would disappear from other players’ perspectives after interaction.
• Resolved an issue on Nintendo Switch where the Action Bar tutorial text was cut off at the bottom of the screen.
• Fixed minor typos in the Gardener Quest dialogue and text.
• Fixed an issue where players using a controller could sell unsellable items at stores.
• Resolved an issue where Echo-Infected Flowtatos did not properly reward the intended infected essence upon collection.
• Resolved an issue where some Rare Forageable items did not include the tag required to count toward daily quest progress.
• Fixed an issue where the Tasty Trait Treat was consumed even if the animal already had a scaling trait.
• Fixed an issue where the Prism Fish plushie was dropping more often than intended.
• Fixed an issue where the “Come Here” emote could be used on top of the Ormuu animal model.

• Fixed a grammatical typo in Kenyatta’s intro dialogue during the “Strong Foundations” quest.
• Fixed an issue where pressing the “ESC” key while in the community menu would fail to return the player to gameplay.

• Fixed an issue where the player was required to select the Esc key several times to close the Animal Roster and Breeding Menus.
• Fixed a minor icon spacing issue during the Achievements celebration screen.
• Resolved a visual issue where fences placed behind the barn lacked collision.
• Fixed an issue where the Whitestone was incorrectly referencing the sell value.
• Fixed an issue where the Diva Trait was not correctly applying its intended effect on Focus depletion.
• Fixed an issue where the Goobi’s cosmetic flowers did not correctly count toward the Deep Pocket trait requirement.
• Resolved an issue where some players were unable to complete a trade transaction.
• The arm of the playable character no longer behaves erratically after petting an animal while in multiplayer.
• The “Goobi” pets now display a proper icon in the Inventory menus.
• Daily Quests can no longer be completed when the User drags the required item from the Storage to the Inventory.

Housing & Decor

• Fixed an issue where Juniper flowers could not be picked up if they were placed on building block assets.
• Fixed an issue where Spooky Spectral Blossoms did not correctly count against the flower limit on housing plots.
• Smaller beds now allow interacting for lying down from both sides.

Social

• Resolved a stability issue causing the game to crash when profanity filter responses were displayed.

Accounts, Character Creation, Collections, and Wardrobe

• Fixed an issue that prevented the player from jumping or gliding after using certain tools.

Premium Cosmetics

• Swapping between variants of the Heavenly Creatures outfits no longer makes slight changes to the Player’s character model.
• Your character is no longer making a cameo on the Landscapes preview in the Premium Store.

Previously, a minor Palia update 0.180 added various tweaks and changes. Since the last patch, players have been experiencing problems with the game. Today’s Palia patch 0.197 will fix a few of these issues.
