No Mans Sky update 4.71 is available to download on PS4, PS5(Version 4.071.000), PC, and Xbox players. According to the official NMS 4.71 patch notes, the latest update addresses various bug fixes, including issues with custom textures, item redemption, discoveries, refiners, weather effects, and more. Apart from this, No Mans Sky version 4.71 also fixes for starship textures, collisions, missions, and crashes.
Recently, a major No Man’s Sky update 4.60 revolutionizes the game with major improvements to Space Stations, ship customization, guild systems, and more, offering players a rich and immersive experience. NMS 4.71 Patch Notes (4.071.000) – May 31, 2024
Bug Fixes:
- Resolved an issue where custom spacecraft paint jobs may not have properly synchronized across all players’ games.
- Eliminated a bug that could sometimes prevent players from claiming the Ghost Galleon ship reward if they already owned the Kraken on a different save file.
- Corrected a glitch causing player-renamed discoveries to reset to their original procedurally generated names upon reloading a save.
- Fixed dragging items onto a broken or partially constructed Personal Matter Converter to repair it, rather than attempting to process the items.
- Re-enabled the spawning of various atmospheric events and dangers like falling space rocks, cyclones, infernos, and electrical storms which were not appearing.
- Adjusted ship models so pilots are no longer displayed hanging below their vessel when in 3rd person view for other players in multiplayer.
- Added ability to access fleet command functions from the capital ship’s control terminal even if no navigator NPC is manning the bridge.
- Ironed out several problems with ship cosmetic customization textures.
- Removed some collision detection issues with damaged spaceship base building parts.
- Stopped the Atlantideum resource hunting task from instantly completing upon starting it.
- Removed a non-working “Scan for Resource” interface button erroneously present on Silicon Dust in the materials index.
- Prevented certain tracked objectives from momentarily showing up empty in the quest journal right after activating them.
- Fixed some mission directives getting cut off due to text overflow.
- The Impulse Cell crafting blueprint now unlocks at the proper point during the Lost in Space expedition questline.
- Progressing through Lost in Space goals is no longer halted if the player visited every rendezvous point prior to starting those goals.
- Removed a confusing hint message about Helios that could appear at the wrong time while playing the Lost in Space expedition.
- Cleaned up a variety of small text errors.
- Eliminated a crash that could occur when duplicating organic monstrosities.
