Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord Update 1.029 Patch Notes (v1.28)

Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord update 1.029 is now available to download on PS5, PS4 and PC (Steam). According to the official Bannerlord 1.029 patch notes, War Sails v1.0.4 update improves naval balance in War Sails, upgrades cargo systems, and adjusts trade value. Elite ranged troops receive bow skill reductions affecting naval battles. Apart from this, Bannerlord patch 1.029 also fixes numerous ship behavior, dialogue, UI, and crash issues.

War Sails Expansion – v1.0.4

Changes

• Naval & Quest Adjustments

  • Enemy reinforcement ship count reduced from 3 to 2 in “Free the Sea Hounds’ Captives”.

• Economy & Cargo Improvements

  • Increased cargo capacity for all ship types.

  • Increased Trade Ship prices to reflect higher trade value.

  • Reduced pack animal cargo penalties to support trade and prevent AI issues.

• Troop Equipment Updates

  • Vlandian and Sturgian mariners now use culture-appropriate and tier-appropriate shields.

  • Fixed Gunnar’s alley-fight dialogue triggering inside the port scene, which caused crashes.

• Ship & Party Behavior

  • Fixed pirate parties spawning with excessive ships.
