There are multiple reports of MLB The Show 23 servers and SHIFT connection issues.
Update – The game servers are down for unscheduled maintenance (network issue). The game devs are aware of this issue and a fix is in work.
October 17, 2023 – A small game update set to deploy at 4 AM PT on Tuesday 10/17.
June 23, 2023 – Game update and server update at 4 AM PT for Update 10.
May 18, 2023 – Game update and server update at 4 AM PT on 5/18/2023.
May 10, 2023 – Server maintenance is scheduled for 4 AM PT on 5/10/23.
May 3, 2023 – Game update 4 and server update at 4 AM PT on 5/3/2023.
April 26, 2023 – Server maintenance is scheduled for 4 AM PT on 4/26/23.
April 6, 2023 – Server maintenance is scheduled at 4 AM PT. Please complete all games prior to that time.

July 13, 2022 – Extended server maintenance is scheduled from 12:00 AM PT – 2:00 AM PT on 7/13 in MLB The Show 22. Please complete all games prior to that time.
June 13, 2022 – Xbox and PlayStation servers are facing some issues. The game servers are down on both of these consoles. The game devs are aware of these issues where some users may not be able to purchase or launch games. Please stay tuned for updates here or check the status page link below.
June 9, 2022 – Game Update 8 and Server restart at 4 AM PT on 6/9/22. Please complete all games prior to that time.
