Helldivers 2 update 1.003.101 is available to download on PS5 and PC. According to the official Helldivers 2 version 1.003.101 patch notes, Helldivers now enjoy mid-dive stim access, enhanced stealth mechanics, and improved weapon and armor balancing. Apart from this, Helldivers 2 patch 1.003.101 also refines key enemy types and mission mechanics.

Patch Notes Summary

  • Helldivers can now self-administer stims mid-dive

  • Major buffs to R-2 and P-2 weapons

  • Armor passives “Integrated Explosives” and “Unflinching” enhanced

  • Stealth system improved around enemy spawners

  • Various enemy balancing and bug fixes for missions and UI


🔧 General Changes

Mobility and Utility

  • Helldivers may now use stims while diving
    Previously prohibited for safety reasons


🔫 Weapon Balancing

Primary Weapons

R-2 Amendment
  • Ergonomics increased: 35 ➜ 50

Sidearms

P-2 Peacemaker
  • Starting magazines: 4 ➜ 5

  • Max spare magazines: 6 ➜ 8

  • Damage: 75 ➜ 85

  • Durable damage: 15 ➜ 25


🛡️ Armor Passives

Integrated Explosives

  • Now increases initial grenade inventory and carry capacity by +2

Unflinching

  • Now provides:

    • +25 Armor Rating

    • Radar scan every 2 seconds from placed map markers
      (Reveals nearby enemies)


👾 Enemy Updates

Stealth Detection

  • Spawners (e.g. Terminid, flying enemies) now activate only after enemies detect you

  • Ends arbitrary detection within 200m

  • Automaton Fabricators spawn more consistently


🎯 Objective Updates

Take Down Overship

  • Planetary Defense Cannon now does correct damage to Leviathans

Illuminate Faction

Harvester
  • Rebalanced to be more vulnerable to anti-tank weapons (especially headshots)

Overseers
  • Reduced Elevated Overseer spawns during Prevent Invasion Foothold

  • May now spawn from landed dropships

Leviathan
  • Projectile damage: 1500 ➜ 350

  • Explosion damage/radius increased to maintain area lethality

Automatons

Factory Strider
  • Foot health slightly increased
    (Can no longer be 1-shot with GR-8 to the legs)


🐞 Fixes

Crashes & Soft-locks

  • Resolved crash on player disconnects

  • Fixed crashes when browsing weapon attachments

Weapons & Stratagems

  • Fixed RS-422 Railgun scope heat display

  • Adjusted Entrenchment Tool stamina cost to match others

  • Fixed melee issues inside shield relays

Enemies

  • Fixed Stingray death animation glitches (teleporting/stopping)

Missions

  • Fixed Overship explosion and completion bugs

  • Fixed “Deploy Seismic Probe” soft-lock

  • Fixed drill and super sample spawn issues

Miscellaneous

  • Resolved sliding bug with Lockstep emote

  • Fixed pathing issues around Shuttlebay

  • Corrected pickup handling glitch

  • Restored missing SEAF soldier attachments

  • Error message now shown for load failures

  • Fixed flickering Helldiver preview and loadout jitter

Previously, a minor Helldivers 2 version 1.003

enhanced the Masters of Ceremony armors, now offering faster reloads and stronger melee attacks. The patch also added widespread crash fixes, improved enemy AI behavior, and better mission stability—especially in Leviathan encounters. Weapon handling and stratagem interactions have been refined, while a key fix ensures civilians no longer wrongly brand players as traitors.

Unfortunately, since the last patch, players have been experiencing several issues. The upcoming Helldivers 2 update 1.003.102 will address the remaining issues and bugs.
