Helldivers 2 update 1.002.103 is available to download on PS5 and PC. According to the official Helldivers 2 version 1.002.103 patch notes, the latest update focuses on rebalancing Warbond weapons, particularly the LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle and GP-31 Ultimatum, while addressing major bugs, crashes, and misaligned scopes. Apart from this, Helldivers 2 patch 1.002.103 also resolves various crashes and matchmaking issues.
Previously, a minor Helldivers 2 version 1.000.200 added new environmental hazards and weapon adjustments. Unfortunately, since the release, players are experiencing several issues. The upcoming Helldivers 2 update 1.002.103 will address the remaining issues and bugs.

Balance Changes
Primary Weapons
LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle
- Adjusted armor penetration and damage scaling to improve risk/reward mechanics.
- New Heat Scaling:
- 0-25% heat: AP2, 55 damage, no self-damage.
- 26-50% heat: AP3, 55 damage, 10 self-damage/sec.
- 51-90% heat: AP3, 70 damage, 20 self-damage/sec.
- 91%+ heat: AP4, 70 damage, 50 self-damage/sec + fire effect.
- Ammo Adjustments:
- Starting magazines: Increased from 1 → 2.
- Spare magazines: Increased from 2 → 3.
Sidearms
GP-31 Ultimatum
- No longer benefits from the Hellpod Optimization Booster or Siege Ready armor passive to balance ease of ammo access.
- The weapon remains powerful but now requires more strategy to maximize effectiveness.
Bug Fixes

- Fixed misaligned scope aiming, ensuring proper ADS alignment across all weapons.
Crash Fixes & Stability Improvements
- Fixed crashes related to:
- Joining sessions mid-mission.
- Swapping weapons.
- Changing languages during gameplay or cutscenes.

Weapons & Stratagem Fixes
- Fixed accidental arming of B-100 Portable Hellbomb when entering the FRV.
Miscellaneous Fixes
- Resolved a level generation issue where some objective terminals became non-interactable.
- Fixed an issue where the Integrated Explosives armor passive sometimes failed to trigger.
