According to the official Helldivers 2 version 1.002.005 patch notes, the latest update resolves critical crashes and gameplay issues. Apart from this, Helldivers 2 patch 1.002.005 also fixes jitter issues and adds connection improvements.
Previously, a minor Helldivers 2 version 1.000.200 added new environmental hazards and weapon adjustments. Unfortunately, since the release, players are experiencing several issues. The upcoming Helldivers 2 update 1.002.006 will address the remaining issues and bugs.

- Illuminate Ship Despawning: Resolved a crash that occurred when Illuminate ships despawned.
- Game Quitting: Fixed crashes that could happen when the player exited the game.
Miscellaneous Fixes
- Aiming Stability: Fixed jitter issues while aiming through scopes for a smoother experience.
- W.A.S.P Launcher Targeting: Resolved a bug causing the STA-X3 W.A.S.P Launcher to fail when used by another player.
- Connection Stability: Reduced instances of disconnections during Illuminate missions.
